Thanks for your answer. I can try to get it re-scheduled/relocate it but I have read so many stories of process delayed for months after requesting changes….
check the comment below. They called ircc line and rescheduled without much delay. In this case it seems the mistake/reschedule request is not yours so hopefully it's quick. They might send an email to the office to transfer file back to office in your location.
Citizenship oath ceremony rescheduled to 10/18, in-person.

I had to call ircc line and talk with an agent to get it rescheduled. All done during the call, new invitation emails received in the afternoon.

How much time is NGF office taking after oath to send the e-certificate? My wife will need to fly in and fly out for oath and she wants to be in Canada for no more than 6 days for oath and passport
My oath was completed yesterday morning, still waiting for the certificate :(

@Sayantan86: I could not quote your post in this response.
I took Oath yesterday as well (SCR office) and I received an email this morning with instructions to download the e-cert. I was successful in downloading the electronic citizenship certificate.
Some had received this email even before the Oath ceremony. If you are in that boat, then you can try them out. I don't think there will be another email sent out.

FP received on Oct 6, BG updated as completed on Oct 7, tracker shows changes on Oct 9. PP and prohibitions still in progress.
Hi,

How many days did it take from the day you gave your fingerprints to the date ircc updating status.

I sent fingerprints on September 19th and still waiting for bg complete.

Thanks. I rechecked after few mins and the certificate is now available in the portal.

We just had our interview with the immigration officer. She was very nice and friendly, and the whole process took about 7 minutes for both myself and my wife (we were together).
She asked us basic questions like
“Do you travel?”, “Where do you work?”,
“Did you renew your expired passport?”,
and “Have you had any issues with the police or immigration?”.
She didn’t ask why we haven’t traveled since arriving in Canada and why we never renew our passports. At the end of the interview, she said, “We will review your applications, and if we have any questions, we will email you. Otherwise, within about a month, you’ll receive an invite for the oath.”

@maverick1982 @hssrp The officer didn’t explicitly say we were approved (and we didn’t ask), but I’ve read that others have received immediate approval during their interviews. Is this normal?

Yes, pretty normal. Most officers do not explicitly say that you are approved, only a few say that.
Check your tracker again in 2 business days and most likely your LPP will be marked as completed, if she was satisfied with whatever info she was looking for.

Same. I submitted FP on Sept 6. They updated Portal on Oct 8, 2024 with status that fingerprints received on Oct 1, 2024 and they will start reviewing them shortly.

Oath Ceremony Done, looks like there is a Ghose Update on tracker as it says Updated today but will show up in 2 days.
