In my case, I have a B1 on my current passport and I wont have enough time to have my passport surrendered. Also, I am just transiting through US to Mexico.
I am planning to submit the application once I get my Canadian passport and take a copy to show to the immigration officer that its in process.
Fatefully , this is my first travel after my NEXUS application got conditionally approved on my current passport. Not sure how that's gonna go. The Canadian interview is scheduled in November, however the US one, I believe happens at the post of entry.

My application was processed by Scarborough office. Timeline can be found in the signature as well as from the tracker that @maverick1982 and @hssrp are tracking

I sent my fingerprints on sep 11 (on day of receiving email) and it's been sent to Vancouver office on 17 sep (confirmed from rcmp) . It's not updated yet. Ircc says check around 10th Oct and rcmp says check again by 20 oct. Good luck with the long wait

Called IRCC today, agent said as the 30 day mark is approaching and we haven’t received your FP, send us the receipt I got during FP submission from RCMP via webform.

Citizenship oath ceremony rescheduled to 10/18, in-person.

I had to call ircc line and talk with an agent to get it rescheduled. All done during the call, new invitation emails received in the afternoon.

Hey, I am also planning to reschedule Oath. Can you guide me how you did it with them on phone? Like what did they ask for? How long after the original date they rescheduled you? And did they give you the date right away on the phone?

I got my oath scheduled in Tracker for Oct 15 and got instructions to download e-certificate email. But didn't receive the details about the oath itself! Not sure how and where it will be

as mentioned by hssrp- updates happen 2 business days later. Tuesday through Saturday. Thursdays update is shown on Saturday. Fridays update shown on Tuesday. It only happens once during day at 5 am. Except test, oath or fingerprint email. They can come anytime. So if you have notification enabled on phone for email , you don't have to check status more than once. It has helped me a lot know how the updates work

You will get the email this week about the type of oath and how to join. But since you get the e-certificate instructions email, it hints that yours will be a virtual ceremony over zoom.

I got email invitation today for in-person Oath Ceremony Next week on Friday October 18th. However the location is set for Scarborough Ontario, even though we applied from BC. Anyone has a similar case? Is it possible/advisable to request a change of the Ceremony Location?
