Hi! I completed my citizenship test today 18/20. Do you recieve an email or update about doing the test? or is it a waiting game until the test is checked and verified?

There is option at end of test to send results to your email, But its not officially sent by IRCC. You will see update on tracker in 2-10 days.

Called IRCC today. They received FP, But no update in tracker. Agent said security screening is still in progress.What does it means and how much time it takes

For Security Screening, there are no timelines. This all depends on how quick other countries respond etc. I've seen it take days, weeks, months and even years.

Got an update today to take the test between August 13 and September 12. No email invitation yet.

Test given and passed on August 23rd.

I received FP Request, It does not show on tracker till the time IRCC receive results and process those.

This is not completely correct, here is how it works.

Most fingerprints requests are sent by the Vancouver office (almost 80-85% applicants) irrespective of your local processing office. When they send the request, the fingerprints requests does appear on the tracker and also gets updated when they receive it. The BG gets marked as completed the next day (provided the secuity clearance is already in place).

Recently, (in the past 2 months) few applicants started receiving the FP request from the CPC Sydney office. They DO NOT update the tracker either with the fingerprints sent request or the receipt of FP. They only mark the BG as completed once they receive the Fingerprints report. Maybe it is a new process for them as they just started or they might follow Vancouver and start updating the tracker, only time will tell.

A very tiny number of applicants, from Quebec get the FP request from Montreal office. They also don't update the tracker with FP details.

Aug 22: Received test instructions and test link. Window opens Aug 30.
Aug 23: Provided FP at RCMP accredited place near by. walk-in. 60CAD incl tax. Time < 30 min.

Security screening is done by a third party CSIS and IRCC have no control on it. Your BG will be marked as completed after these 2 are completed:

1. FP report received by IRCC from RCMP and
2. Security clearance from CSIS.

RCMP sent results on 15th Aug and today i confirmed calling IRCC, They said FP received, But no update on tracker yet.

If you received the FP request from Sydney, it will not be updated in the tracker. Both the request for FP and the receipt of FP.

spreadsheet updated, email of unofficial results only if you click the button at the end of test. Else, wait for officer to check and update the tracker, usually in 2-10 business days.

Me and my wife both got FP from quebec. Today Wife Background check completed and there is no updates on tracker for FP request receipt.

On my profile its just GU, You know what i could be.
