Seeing many who have AOR after mine but got FD and everything really is making me feel nervous :(.
  • CEC Inland - STEM ITA Apr 11th
  • AoR June 7th
  • Medical Aug 7th
  • Biometric Aug 1st
And nothing after that. Bad luck I guess?

I have no clue how IRCC works or how they process the applications but I feel that outland applications are processed way faster than inland. I am an outland myself, I got my AOR in July 19th and I got COPR details already available in PR tracker and now I'm waiting to have my passport returned (hopefully with some good news).

I agree that it seems outland applications are processed faster. If I were the policy maker, I would have done so too. Reason is, CEC inland are already established and paying tax and contributing to the country and will continue doing so regardless of how fast their PR is processed. For outland on the other hand, the faster they are processed, the faster Canada will receive 'fresh meat' which brings money into the country and into the meat grinder that is the declining economy to help revive it.

Have you tried calling IRCC?
I'm a constant caller of them since second week of my application. If you can see my tracker, there's a lot of "we received your inquiry" post there.

Also, raise a webform too.

I just got another GU in my tracker just now. I can see that COPR number is generated for both PA and dependent with an expiry date of June 2025. We both have the same COPR number. Is that normal? Also, for the travel document part in tracker PA's passport number is given for both PA and dependent. Is that an error or it's the norm for applicants with dependents? Any insight is appreciated.

Hi! My advice is to check both you and your dependent data separately - log in, select you, check yours COPR data, then log out, log in and check dependent's data. I feel the tracker is lagging now and it doesn't update data when you switch between people.

My dependent and me have different document travel numbers, same expiry date, that matches with my travel document expiry date and our WP expiry dates (Feb 2025). And I'm not so sure about COPR number. Now we have two different ones and I believe Sep 27, when we have them appeared in the tracker, it was only one number. But I'm not so sure now, maybe it was a glitch

You are a God-Send! Thanks a ton for this info. I literally applied your method and now it is showing we both in fact have 2 different COPR numbers and the passport details are also in correct order for both the PA and the dependent. However, the expiry date is the same which makes sense. There's a lag in the tracker.

I don't think outland applications are faster in general, and it has nothing to do with grabbing money. IRCC has a mandate to reduce temp residents, so CEC applicants are processed relatively fast. But IRCC also has a bigger mandate to bring in French speakers and health workers, so those outland applicants are processed even faster.

Hi, I still haven't received the BIL request for AOR 05-June (PNP-BC INLAND). The response I got through the web form and call was quite generic; they basically just told me to wait.

Call them and ask what's happening with your application. 4 months is quite the wait. Recent trends show that you get BIL/MIL within 2 months form your AOR date.

Do you know if the COPR number that appears on tracker after FD is the same that appears in the actual e-COPR? Basically want to understand if this means that our application is approved and done. I still haven't got the P1 mail but can see the number on tracker. TIA:)

My friend who got ecopr said the number in tracker is temporary number. Actual ecopr number and pr number is different.
