June 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

I'm 20th June 2021 online applicant. Got AOR on 22 Sept 2021. After that, today mark 5 months of complete radio silence. 8 months of overall processing time so far with just 1 correspondence from IRCC.

Mine is stuck at this table since 23 Sept 2021.

Language skills In progress	Background verification In progress
Physical presence In progress	Prohibitions In progress
Citizenship test Not started	Citizenship ceremony Not started

I hope IRCC come out of their "TORPOR" state soon.

If it's any comfort, many of us are in a similar situation - I'm a June 07 paper applicant, got my AOR on September 16 and Background check was completed almost 5 months afterwards. I'm awaiting my test invite now.

Test invite for 18th Feb to 10th March. test done on 18th Feb. passed. Test status changed to complete on 21s of Feb. Waiting for the next step. hopefully next step would be the oath

Discover Canada. Just read it once. Questions in the test are straightforward. You can even find the answers by omitting the super obvious wrong choices.

there are some quiz/questions at the end of the book those are very helpful. apnatoronto has all the modules and quizzes.

@trumprefugee I think same guy/office is working on my case. My AOR is Sept. 20 and haven't heard anything after that. No ghost updates, Nothing.
After your thread I logged in and saw my profile also shows updated status Feb 22 and I didn't get any email either. Hopefully we should see some update in coming days.

I didn’t receive fingerprint request letter in my email but in status tracker it says we sent a letter to you by mail or email . So when I can expect the FP request letter ?

I found that many people got their test completed in the next business day in the tracker, but I have done the test for 5 days and the tracker is still not updated, is that normal?

same thing happened with me. So I called IRCC.
They told me its gonna be a scheduled email. most like 2 days after( thats how it was in my case). And I did received it 2 days later.

I just want to say good luck everyone the wheels at CIC are turning, but slowly. My partner didn't want to share her time line at the time but will allow me to give hope to others. The application was submitted in June applicant and she completed her Oath Ceremony yesterday. We didn't ask for rushed service.

AOR was September
Test was late December
Oath Invite was mid to late Jan
Oath Feb 22

Keep the faith all.
