I'm confused about my application. I sent it by paper mail on June 28 and received my AOR on October 3. On October 12 I received a link to the tracker. However, in my application history it states they "begun to process my application" on August 23?

Hi Folks, hope you guys are doing great! Can anyone guide me submit my wife's citizenship application. I have 2 questions. Her passport about to expire by January end 2022. Would it be okay to submit application with less expiration date ? If so, can she renew her passport once she submit the application and update her file later via webform. ?

My next question, she was on Maternity off with EI almost a year.However, she was with same employer during Maternity EI and joined back to them. Was this considered as Unemployed or she has to declare as work experience.

It takes about 35-75 days from the date you receive your AOR to your application being in process in ECAS. I believe it also depends on your local office where your file is being processed.
