Hi there so my application was returned and it reached originally on June 9. But I resent with completed items in August 9. I’m guessing now they will process my application as of August 9 instead of June 9? Also where did most of you get AOR junk/spam or inbox?

When was your application returned? After how many days?

I just got this email with pdf attached - text below. Can someone confirm if this is the AOR?

"
This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your
application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required.
All citizenship applicants between 18 and 54 years of age on the date they sign their application
must meet language and knowledge requirements to become a Canadian citizen. If this includes
you, you will need to:
• Demonstrate competence in basic communication in English or French.
• Pass a written or if necessary, an oral test on your knowledge of Canada and the rights
and responsibilities of citizenship.
The knowledge test is based on the information provided in the official citizenship study guide. It
is 20 multiple choice questions and you must get at least 15 correct to pass.
• The study guide is available on the IRCC website at:
On the same page, you will find more
information on how to prepare for the test.
When your application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, IRCC will send you
correspondence to invite you to a knowledge test. It could take a few months before you hear
from us."

I have couple of questions:
1. I just relocated to US. I do have a mailing address in Canada. Do I need to communicate this to IRCC and if so How and when should I communicate this to IRCC?
2. Where can I check status of application?
3. Any next steps I need to do here?

Mine is paper application, application sent on 10th June,, delivered on 11th June, from Mississauga, Single, days: 1101

Thanks,
Vishal

Another update from me:

I created my profile on the IRCC website today (I had received my AOR yesterday) and the application tracker shows "In Progress" for everything except "Language", "Written Test" and "Oath".

Thanks and regards.

Wish you luck. Hope they process yours faster

I've a Gmail account so I received my AOR in my "Updates" folder and not in my primary inbox. So it may be good idea to check the junk/spam folder for non-Gmail accounts.

Good luck.
Thanks so much!

I’m thinking I will be processed with Aug applications
Yes. You will be processed with August applications. Actual game starts after we receive AOR. Before AOR, everything stays in the air.
