Glad you got a response at least, but if you had already submitted all of the above exactly as stated, aside from documents which might not be applicable, yes, it does sound like they are asking you to submit the same thing again ...
I have submitted all of the listed details, the web page would not allow me to do so otherwise. I also attached my GCMS notes as a prove that my process is stuck on the security check stage. So... yeah. I'd need to re-submit the same things. Probably to the same result.

Did you write in web inquiry that you are stuck at security check stage ?

Do you think askinv this question helps or has this worked for anyone before ?

I wrote there are known cases of that and my GCMS notes might indicate I'm one of them. Clearly helped nothing thus far..

Hello,

After months of waiting, I've finally some good news to share - all the sections on my application (except Oath Ceremony) were marked as complete on October 20.

Could someone please update the tracker for me?

Thanks and regards.

Congrats!!

I think i have read that case too, in that case he came to know from csis notes.

So, basically you may come to know from csis notes now. If it says its in progress then nothing can be done i guess but if they don't have your case then you are lucky and you can reallly grind this like the other guy did

Yes, those are the options. I need to get the notes first, though. It's been almost four weeks now..

I had my oath on 17th Oct and in old tracker status changed to complete and I see you became a citizen on 17th. But in new tracker ceremony is still in progress. My virtual oath was in Mississauga office, the city where I live. I know it says 2-4 weeks for certificate. any thoughts on how I can expedite certificate if I dnt get it in next day or two.

Thanks,
Vishal

Email the Mississauga office and/or call IRCC or submit webform. They should at least be able to give you some status update, although it might be something as useless as "we don't have a record of receiving your oath form". Unfortunately Mississauga is known to be slow in sending out oath certificate (and in general)

My spouses background checks are not showing complete, test also passed, what is the next step to expect?

I know it's too early to start fretting about this ;) since I received an update only last week but what are the next steps after all the sections (except oath ceremony) are marked as complete?

Thanks!

Well, given that your oath invite can come in anywhere from one day to 6+ months, it's not a bad idea to start thinking about the passport application and be ready to act quickly once you get the oath invite.

Read the instructions for applying for a passport. In particular, start thinking about whom to ask to be your guarantor and reference. The guarantor is most important to think about ahead of time, because it needs to be a Canadian citizen who has a valid, non-expired passport, has known you for at least 2 years, and is okay with signing your application, one of your photos, entering their passport information on your application, and agreeing to be called about you. It took me some time to come up with candidates, as almost all of the people I know well enough who would agree to that are other PRs or non-Canadians.

References are easier to find, as they only need to have known you for at least 2 years and agree to be called about you. They don't even need to be Canadian or in Canada.

Also, now is a good time to make sure you have good pair of scissors to cut up your PR card during a virtual oath ceremony, and that you and everyone in your family have proper ID for the oath.

You can read this page on preparing for the oath, although it is targeted to in-person oaths. But a growing number of offices have been having in-person oaths recently, including Ottawa
