Please help:
AOR: Jun 06, 2020
Bio: Nov 04, 2020
Background checks: Jan 27, 2021
Approval: Apr 09, 2021
COPR Email: April 15, 2021
Photos sent: April 19, 2021

The letter stated to send the COPR doc and photos to the address listed (etobicoke address). My CIC profile hasnt shown any update since application approval on April 15, 2021.

Is there a way to track PR card or get updates?
Will anything update on CIC online profile?
The email containing the COPR letter expires in 1 year, what is PR card isntreceived by then?
For applying for new SIN can i delay it?
Any advise from people who just went through this process?
Congratulations!
I think you need to manually link your PR Card Application to the GC Key portal. You will receive your PR card within a month. If you don't then you can apply for Verification of Status document. That usually arrives quickly. But don't worry!

@legalfalcon I have a question for you. I am EE-PNP candidate AOR June 2020 with only eligibility and medical passed. Now if I create a new profile in EE and apply under CEC, do I have to go for medical once again or my current medical can be linked to my new profile as well. My current medical got expired in Jan. and were extended by IRCC again. At present medicals are passed again. Waiting for your reply, Thanks in advance.

thank you for your response. I didn't start any application for PR card. I just received the PR in email which stated to mail pictures with the COPR doc.

The extension is fairly new phenomenon. However, you file multiple applications, the medicals will be tagged to all of them and you do not need new medicals.

However, in your case, when you submit an EE application, you have to provide an upfront medical sheet to meet the completeness check. So you should get a new medical done. Alternatively, you can submit your application with a LoE explaining that your medicals have been extended and wait for IRCC to get back to you.

Yeah, so once you send the photos, you technically applied for your PR Card. I think using your UCI you can link your application.

Check this link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account/link-paper-online.html
(so consider your PR Card application as a paper application)

I hope this helps.

Thanks buddy that was a lot of help. now i see the PR Card application.
Do you know why it wasnt automatically linked and unlike many other applicants why i didnt receive an online portal request.

Your CoPR is issued by your local visa office. Unlike the Ottawa office, these offices are not centralized and follow the same processes – which means the text on CoPR, how you send photos, etc. will be different.

For example, Vancouver Office will ask people to send them photos by mail, but Etobicoke office IIRC will use the portal to send PR cards.

May be a silly question but just out of curiosity does anyone know my secondary office is Sydney. Would that be Sydney in Canada or Australia? I’m in Australia by the way. TIA

Hi Guys! I recently moved to Canada on a work permit. I have applied for Express Entry since last year (AOR June 2 2020) but have not received any decision. However, I opened my profile today and its written application/profile updated but nothing on my actual profile. What does that mean? Also, does the fact that I moved to Canada help my application?

This happened to me yesterday, too. In my case, "Review of additional documents" changed from "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" to "Not applicable".
