June 2019 citizenship applicants

Hi Folks,

So i called IRCC yesterday. I was told they are working on Citizenship applications up until May 27, and im like it's not consistent with the automated voicemail they have when it was working. Last i called, the automated voicemail said like they are working on applications received June 5th. She's like, well i dont know. I also told her about this forum and that other people who got their applications received early june have AOR's. again she can't explain the inconsistencies. Anyone called IRCC lately to verify the actual applications received they are working on?

I think one of the values of this tracker is we can see for ourselves which is being worked on. Of course it varies by region too. The overall trend is June 3 to June 12 mostly Also look at the analysis tabs to the right (Scroll over) they provide the historical processing times for each step by location. It is interesting to note that starting in March- the processing times increased. I know its hard but be patient.

Both are acceptable, the minimum required for citizenship is only Listening and Speaking. Hmmm im surprised they didn't accept. I personally just did CELPIP that tested my listening and speaking skills.

Yeah they do accept IELTS, but it says on the CIC website that it must be IELTS-General. Here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=572&top=5

Hopefully someone can also give us their experience regarding this if they had submitted the IELTS-Academic and they get AOR then that would be great so many people do not have to get another language proof again and use whatever they have in hand.

It is good that you did CELPIP. Most of my friends also did CELPIP.

Update:
I also received my AOR today (August 22)!
My application was delivered on June 10

Congrats! Hopefully all of us will get our citizenship fast

Hi roughly how long it takes for the test invite after Aor received on 21st aug

after AOR the IP ought to arrive in about 5 weeks
then
The test invite in another 6 weeks or so.
It is not an exact science so follow the tracker
