So, I had fingerprint request on 23rd Oct, I got it done on 24th Oct and sent to RCMP for a local FP agency. Since then there has been no update or even confirmation on ECAS. I am June applicant and processing was started in August. What should I do about it? Any recommendations

Just wondering- on the citizenship test invite letter, there is a section/ document states: PROHIBITIONS UNDER THE CITIZENSHIP ACT.
Do we have to sign it now and send it to the case center or keep it with us and sign during the test/ oath day?

Hi my online status still shows third line that” processing of your citizenship application on September” but on the bottom shows “decision made”

Coz I already get test invite and passed the test January 10 and got decision made on very next day January 11th.

Is that is normal if any applicant still got decision made but third line not updated to test invitation line etc.

Am waiting for oath invite now as per cic officer said you will get oath invite within three months finger crossed. Any body experienced same thing or situation. Please comments...

Thanks,

Hi there,
Have you tried to contact immigration call center? Try to call and ask about your status, usually it takes a month i believe to get to them but do not quote me on that, if not received maybe try to verify with RCMP when it was sent,
Good luck

You have to sign it in front of the IO. But in my experience, the IO who interviewed me, didn't even ask for it. Instead he has his own documents that was printed and he let me sign it.

Decision Made: Don't know when, it wasn't updated on my ECAS with a date.
Oath Invite : January 31st, 2019
Oath Date: February 22nd, 2019

So thankful for the advice this forum has given me. In times of being unsure, not knowing the answers to my questions, and generally wanting to read other people's journey's.

So thankful the journey for me is finally over, it started all the way back in 2006, the happiness sitting in that ceremony was unbelievable.

Good luck to everyone else.

You dont get update on ECAS when fingerprint is received. You'll contact RCMP (the agency should have given you their contact #) to verify if they received it. I had mine done and was received by RCMP about 2 days later then was dispatched to CIC office in Vancouver. Was told it takes about 10 days after it has been dispatched for CIC to receive it but I do not know if it depends on the regional office location. There was no update on ECAS but I have done my test and given a date in March for the oath.

Hey guys, I have a decision made status for me and my wife but it still shows “in process” for kids (minors). Is it normal? Test/interview done and passed a week ago.

Hi,
I hv a question for all members who apply with kids under the age of 15 years.
I apply with my kids, online ecas status shows deceion made for mine and “in process” for my kids. Is this normal or my kids application is still under process.
If anybody is the same situation please help me. Am waiting for oath invite, or my oath invite will comes after my kids status change to deceion made?

The Ecas will never change to DM for minors until the Oath ceremony.

If the kids application is sent for separate processing under section 5(1), how does the ECAS behave?

Test passed on 22nd Feb.
Today the status changed to Decision made.
