Hi,

I think you should contact IRCC by phone and ask if it is possible to process your family member's application separately from the rest of the family (hopefully they will be able to let you know what steps need to be taken for this). As I understand it, and having reviewed the link you sent, they will schedule the test/interview for ALL of you together. If one of you cannot make it, they will postpone everyone's test/interview until all of you can be scheduled on the same day. If your family member is out of the country, you will have to wait until they return and are able to go in for test and interview. You have to communicate to IRCC and ask to process their application separately ASAP, in which case their application will be delayed/pending until they are able to come to Canada for test/interview, and the rest of the family will be able to have their application processed normally.

In the link you provided they talk about issues happening AFTER the test, and that the applications might be processed separately after that. In your case, if you don't figure out if you can separate your family member's application from the rest, you will all be delayed until a time when they are able to be in Canada for all of you to go to the test together. This is my understanding of the situation anyway. I would be proactive and contact IRCC rather than wait for a test/interview to be scheduled to find out what will happen then.

Thank you very much for your so detailed reply. Really appreciate your efforts. The test is required only for 2 parents minors dont need to go thru tests. We will make sure that we are all (2 of us) present for the test when we get the test dates and then lets see how it goes.

Hi my online status still shows third line that” processing of your citizenship application on September” but on the bottom shows “decision made”

Coz I already get test invite and passed the test January 10 and got decision made on very next day January 11th.

Is that is normal if any applicant still got decision made but third line not updated to test invitation line etc.

Am waiting for oath invite now as per cic officer said you will get oath invite within three months finger crossed. Any body experienced same thing or situation. Please comments...

Thanks,

Quick question. My husband and I are going on a vacation to Europe in April as a delayed honeymoon from our wedding last year. We booked our flights before I even got my test invite. I'm taking the test next week in Vancouver. Do they keep your passport after the exam? Or do you still keep get to it?

Hello!
IO will not keep your passport. IO will just check the stamps and will return it to you after.
Good luck on your exam! :)

Hmmm please share your timelines and also share upcoming updates if any.
Everything’s are messed up due to late oath invite, but the only option we have “WAIT” nothing els.
I got a job but they asking for citizenship proof I don’t know how long it will take to get a oath invite. I speak cic they said you can apply for urgent processing, but I don’t know this is the right step on this movement because we are very close to finish line. Any advise...

I am a July applicant and my processing started in Oct, had my test on Jan 16th.
I think you shall go ahead with asking for urgent processing, do include the letter or email you got asking for citizenship proof. It won't hurt to ask for urgent processing.
