Hi guys received my gcms notes a few days ago and under the assessments section (right on the 2nd page of notes) it says eligibility met. Just wondering what is the difference between met, passed and recommended passed. Can someone throw some light on this plesse?

Ps: I know there is a thread that talks about passed and recommended passed. However there's nothing that explains what "eligibility met" means.

As per GCMS notes generated on 8th August-

Primary Office: CPC Ottawa
Secondary Office: Centralized Intake Office

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Case analyst recommendation in note 1 on 18th July 2018 is recommend passed. Got update from call centre agent on 8th September that no one worked on my file after recommendation of Case Analyst. Currently waiting for a Visa Officer to check my file and finalise it.
Hey buddy - I received my gcms notes too. Don't understand what you mean by - "Case analyst recommendation in note 1 on 18th July 2018 is recommend passed". For me I don't see any such recommendation by the case processing agent. All he says and confirms is my job duties match, proof of funds is good to go, blah blah. Which is good to know because there aren't any negative comments. But I don't find this particular recommendation you've mentioned from my case processing agent. Something that explicitly says "eligibility is recommended passed". Am I missing something? But I do see a section called "assessments" right on the 2nd page of the notes where is says my eligibility is met. Is this the one you're talking about?

Yes both eligibility Met and Recommend Passed are same. Sometimes they also write Appears Met. Check activity and find EE Selection Econ- Met/Recommend Passed/Appears Met. If you find it then everything is good. Now a Visa Officer will check the file and approve it. Looking at the current trend of May Aor, if security check doesn't take long we should get ppr by October 20.

I hope next week would bring good news for June applicants. There are high chances we may see some update in next two weeks. This week many of may second half applicants got their status update as well as few got pprs, so I am guessing next week we will some movement for June applicants especially first half June month applicants. Also, timeline would be close to 4 months from aor which signifies we are almost near to our golden emails.

Please keep updated if any one sees movement in their applications.

I didnot order gcms notes but called cal centre twice. Each time my status was under eligibility met. My criminality and security has not started yet. I am also waitinf for my vo to finalize my eligibility stage. I am really worried how long will it take to ahow some kind of movement in our profiles

IP1 or IP2 do not mean anything. Few candidates see IP2 wordings from the day 1 but it does not mean their back ground check has started immediately even before R10 completeness check! Security normally starts after eligibility is set as Passed. You need to order GCMS notes to see when you've passed eligibility (or still in progress!). If it is already more than two months since passing the eligibility then there is a high probability that your file is under security screening which can take 15-25 months to complete but again no one can say for sure how IRCC works internally. I have seen cases took 8-9 months even without security screening! Don't be misguided by MyCIC account wordings. Order GCMS notes if you are concerned or you can wait it out.
@ishq74 - When we say passing the eligibility more than 2 months , are you referring to Eligibility recommneded passed or Met by case analyst or are we saying eligibility passed by officer has gone passed 2 months

Ask whether eligibility recommended passed or not. When was it done?

Criminality check done or not? If not done has it started and when

Security check started or not

Also ask visa office
