I received my AOR on June 3rd, just thought of sharing the journey thus far.

AOR: June 3rd.
Med Passed: June 18th.
IP1: June 19th.

Applied 1st GCMS: July 4th
Received notes for the same on Aug 4th.

It had >140 pages, and here is a gist of it.

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

But, there were 2 notes (they were in reverse chronological order):

1) On June 18th, by Program Assistant

(limited verbiage, looked like scribbled notes, checked entire application)

CRS score, Meds/UCI for all applicants, RPRF, PA IELTS, PA Education, Spouse IELTS, Spouse Education, PCC PA - NRT R.10 OK, PCC Spouse - NRT R.10 OK, Docs set for review - Client Info, Recommendation: Review Required

2) On June 27th, by Case Processing Officer

(this is more verbose, here is the gist)

A11.2: Met
R75: Appears Met
R76: Appears to meet
Selection Criteria - Funds: Appears to Meet
FSW Points: 74
RPRF: Complete
CRS: 447, Min for round: 441
(Details on how CRS score was reached)
Integrated Search (FOSS/GCMS): Details about PA TRV, and No Adverse info for Spouse and Child.
Family Composition: (Details of all applicants, child's Birth Cert with parent info)
Medicals: All valid for 6 months or more.
Passports: All valid for 6 months or more.
Work Experience: (Details / Extract from the experience letters + NOC verification details)
Work Experience: 6+ years, 15 FSW points
Settlement Funds: Appears to meet.

Only other thing I noticed was file moved from CIO, Ottawa to NDVO on July 5th.
Reason: Workload (re)-distribution

There was a due date on this: August 4th

Out of this whole exercise, specially after reading the Case Processing Officer's notes, I sleep a little better knowing that I've done my part in filling up / gathering certs etc. properly. And its all upto them now.

Applied 2nd GCMS: August 18th

I waited for 2 weeks, as the last due date 4th Aug in the 1st GCMS Notes - Eternal Optimist. And, by then some people with June AOR were starting to get PPRs. SO, I waited, till Aug 18th and reapplied for GCMS Notes.

Got a response yesterday, September 19th.

NO CHANGE, exact same notes as Aug 4th. Really heartbreaking after a month's wait after applying for the GCMS Notes. Sigh...

One thing though, the due date is now empty/blanked out. Brilliant.

So, its just wait... wait... wait.... till someone chances on the application again, sigh.

You mean after 3 months, eligability not started yet or its mention recommend reveiw?

Well, according to immitracker... something akin to 2 years.

Realistically, though, most applications are done within 4-6 months from AOR. Even if not, something like 90+% of applications are eventually approved. You'll be alright :)

Do you mean Canadian or American Thanksgiving? I think your chances are okay for American Thanksgiving. It would put you about 5 months out from AOR.
Thanks :) I was hoping to hear something by American thanksgiving!! Hopefully i wont hit the 2 year mark!! but who knows!! lets see :)

The notes has this in the beginning (on the 2nd Page):

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

But, on the Case Processing Officer's notes, everything is marked as met or appears met. The only place Recommended review was the Program Assistant's notes. If you look at the dates, the Case Processing Officer's notes are after the Program Assistant's. But, this is what I'm inferring from reading the notes and comparing the dates.

So, I'd like to believe the Recommended Review advised by the Program Assistant is actually reviewed by the Case Processing Officer at a later date. Anyways, the 2nd Page status I pasted above lists everything as Not Started. This is different from whatever cases I've seen thus far on the forum and general googling. Any interpretations from members is welcome.

Canada Post labour negotiations may cause application processing delays

14 September 2018
immigrate work settle sponsor studyimmigrate business

Labour negotiations at Canada's national postal service, Canada Post, may result in processing delays for Canadian immigration applications mailed within Canada.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada advises individuals planning to travel to Canada of submitting an application (including a passport or other travel document) to apply early.

The 60-day conciliation period between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) ended on September 5, 2018.

CUPW negotiators are working with Canada Post to arrive at an agreement. If one isn't reached by September 26, the union will be in a legal strike position
Can this affect FSW-O?

Hello folks,

I have a specific situation. I am in Canada right now and have applied for PR under CEC category.

AOR : June 16, 2018.

I was hoping my application would be approved in 3.5 months of time i.e. by Sept 2018..
well.. i was wrong of course. Apparently, it would definitely take longer!!

Now the question is..I am moving to back to my home country by Sept end. Does anyone know what is the procedure to move PR application from Canada to home country? Or is just that I have to change address in my profile? I do not want passport request to be sent in Canada after I move back to home country :)

Any thoughts would help..

I am not sure if you really can move your PR application to home country. Also, as some inland candidates have received landing interview email, how are you planning to handle this if you get an landing interview email too?

You do not have to do anything to move your application. When you move back to your home country, just inform IRCC of the change of address via CSE, and that is it.

If your PoF was in a currency other that CAD / USD then the review required may be because of that, as the case analyst and the assistants have to defer the currency conversion to the officer in-charge.

Hi Guys,
Need help ... I just got our GCms notes and we are freaked out.
At some places it says eligibility not met and at some Places it says fsw eligibility passed.
On our IELTS SECTION it says obsolete for both of us although our Ielts are just 6 months old.
How can I upload the notes here? It’s 104 pages .... which section do I upload ??? Thanks

I believe this is already done, as (my bank balance in CAD) - (my last cc bill in CAD) is computed and is mentioned in CAD. Also, mentioned is the fact that it APPEARS TO MEET the min req. for a family of 3 in CAD.

Hey Guys,
I really need some important advice. I am FSWO-Indian June 19th AOR applicant. Since there was no change in eligibility status since 60 days i ordered a gcms note on august 19th and I received it yesterday.

But the gcms notes shows few tensing statements (highlighted in red):

Text:
A11.2- CASE PROCESSING AGENT: Lock-in Date: 2018-06-19_E0xxxxxx2 PA: Manu Chacko Francis,- EE FSW
Having analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information
contained in the file, I make the following recommendation: A11.2 decision: NOT MET
___________________________________________________________________ WORK
EXPERIENCE: Lock-in Date: 2018-06-19 Primary Occupation: NOC 0112 Human Resources Managers 2018-04 to
2018-06- Assistant Manager- Career Management Center (NOC: 0112)- at Axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxe(company name) PA
DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE ONE YEAR OF CONTINUOUS WORK EXPERIENCE IN PRIMARY NOC 0112-
eDoc# 22xxxxx1

But the thing is I have total five years of experience, but I had got into a new job which has been mentioned in the notes and I had uploaded the referral letter of the latest company too. As the job description was matching to the said NOC of Human Resource manager I mentioned that as my primary NOC. But now since its just been 3 months in that job as on the said AOR how can i justify their statement. I have also provided all referral letters and other supporting documents of all the previous jobs, but they have mentioned only about my last job. I have mentioned the same in my letter of explanation that I have a total experience of 5 years in a previous company and my latest company is a new one.

The curious thing is just before receiving the notes I had a word with a cic agent on call and she said their is nothing to be worried and its just the eligibility is not completed and the officer has not asked for any ADR. So your file looks good and is in progress.

Somebody please share their expertise. I am a bit tensed now.

Thanks in Advance
