Hi Navin, can you please explain what they do in security screening??
there's two types, one which everyone goes through where they take your biographic info and run it though some databases and if it doesnt return any adverse info you get cleared this takes a few days, the second type is a more comprehensive check where they wait for clearances from other countries you visited which takes several months to years.
the type of screening you are chosen for depends on several factors like nationality, type of work, travel history etc.

Hi Guys

Need a little help here. My wife and I have both applied for FSW, I being the primary applicant. Country of residence - India

Timeline
Aor - 11th June
Medical and no additional documentation required - 24th June
Post that no update.

MY question is if i quit my job now serving a months notice till September end, do i need to provide this info to the visa officer and what are the implications for the same. Can it be taken in a negative way??
its not necessary to inform them about your resignation.

Thank you this is helpful and something new for me... so on what criteria do they choose candidates for security screening??

I was targeting PPR by page 300 of this thread....hibernation might help in achieving that especially considering I am still stuck at IP1 with no material change since my last call on 24 July. Called yesterday and lady was too lazy to look into any notes with just reading out status that I could see on my profile. To my answer on start of BCG check, she replied in negative.

Seems I would have to play out till day 4 and 5 of this test match....Ottawa officially sucks (at least the VO :p)

Hello all,
Please I would like to know how often New Brunswick accepts EOIs? That is how often are we allowed to submit?
