I *think* it's because the CAN00whatever number that you start with is a placeholder until they determine whether you're already in their system or not. If you've applied for a visa in the past, they'll assign you the same number you were assigned in the past, since you're the same "client." If you haven't applied in the past, it will be replaced with your new, official UCI. That's my impression, anyway. Anyone else have any insight on this?
Yes you are correct, I got the same UCI number as before.

Same here :) Can't join using the link.

Sounds like your "landing" interview if I'm not mistaken. :) Seems they usually just ask you to bring your documents, go over your application one last time and then approve you if they're satisfied.

You have to make sure to calculate your CRS score with the married status to check if you are still above the cutoff of your ITA round, otherwise your application might be rejected. Scores single and married are different (you will probably get a bit less while married)

Thanks for the reply but I have read in other threads that adding spouse after eAPR doesn't affect CRS scores. ..provided marriage took place after eAPR. ..After eAPR CRS scores get locked

It gets locked but in your case you are changing application, adding dependant, it will be re-calculated.

so.. basically.. you eAPR.. locks all the info till date. But if there is a change which would affect your overall CRS, then yes you need to let them know
