You don't need to order notes as this will not help to speed up the process. After couple of weeks you should receive an email stating that your uploaded docements has been forwarded to responsible department. If you don't receive that email then you can call them or order notes

For POF review, you will not be rejected (if the matter is that serious) without procedural faireness letter. But in most cases visa officer approves the file based on current documents or asks for updated statement max. As you already have provided the supporting documents you can assume you won't receive further ADR or PF letter but the waiting time could be 7-12 months.

Thank you, I hope it would be approved quickly, I am frustrated all day :(

Completing 6 months tomorrow - really hoping I dont have to wait out the Christmas and New Year holidays and get the PPR this week.
Yeah that’s my biggest fear if we have to wait post Christmas and new year. That would turn out to be a disaster of all plans. We can just pray that we receive ppr this week itself as we are also completing six months. Lot of expectations this week.

I’m at that stage where I won’t be surprised if this drags till January.

I think that's a thought we have to take seriously and plan for. A week of December is basically celebrating Christmas and New Years, so December is only a three week month work wise. I can easily see a lot of us getting PPR's in january instead, and I think everyone should prepare for it :)

Yes - hope for the best and prepare for the worst is my strategy.

Hey guys June AOR here. I just got a request letter for a Nigerian police certificate. Does anyone from naija know the fastest way to get them ? Can I get my fingerprints from the RCMP and then send it to Nigeria or should I go to the embassy in Ottawa to get them done?

Security will only start once your eligibility is reviewed by senior officer. It may be waiting in the queue to be reviewed. Once a final call has been taken on eligibility your security will start. For most cases security takes from few hours to few weeks unless there are some red flags and your application goes to security screening where the wait would be endless.

Earlier it was real quick from final review to security and then ppr but these days applications are even getting stucked for months after moving to ip2.
Only option is to wait and be patient. Things will definitely work out. Good luck
This is no longer the case.
I know quite a number of people that their eligibility is Passed (not Met or Recommended passed), myself included that Security hasn't started for over a month later.

Hey guys June AOR here. I just got a request letter for a police certificate. The thing is I came to Canada at the age of 17 for uni and haven't been back to my home country in a while. Even when I visited, it was for the summer and I haven't spent up to 6months back home. Should I contact CIC to mention this or should I just go ahead and send them the police certificate?
I would go ahead and send them it. Even though you have not stayed six months in a row, they can still ask for it :)

Yeah I figured. I need to find out how to quickly get them. Christmas is around the corner and I've been given just 30 days to get them.
