No news. Arrrgh...Sydney guys (ip2-oct15/16 and approved)..any update??!!
Thanks Cansha.. Really appreciate members here who always ready to share the info and guide whenever required. That status means nothing. The status will remain the same till the day they send COPR.
Ghost update was on the same day Oct 26Did you got the ghost update? I doubt the ghost update is a indicator of being approved.
Ohh well, we already did landing formalities at my houseYes I saw, thats good for you..you can might as well also do inland landing at his house in Montreal..
Buena suerte y espero que la decision viene pronto! If so, then I’m sure everything will be alright. What I find odd is that I’ve seen mail replies with “in process - review required”, mine just says in process
I will use it as my profile pic over all of my social sites.I'm planning to frame my PPR email as well.
no updates at allSydney guys (ip2-oct15/16 and approved)..any update??!!
This might be the reason for the delay. I also got a US Visa refusal over 10 years ago (no reason given, I'm Honduran and they deny visas left and right as well), I brushed it off since I've had a US Visa twice after that and didn't answer no on application but raised CSE later. No, no gcms, maybe they are saving the best for last .... seriously speaking I don’t really know, it could be for a couple reasons, but nothing too determining...
from the top of my head, I raised a couple CSE, one for POF because I was having trouble getting the official letter from the bank and only uploaded 6 months of statements, later I was able to get the letter and uploaded through a CSE, and another one because I completely forgot about a US visa tourist refusal, it is very common for venezuelans since they feel we all want to move there illegally and it’s nonsense in my case since I had a tourist visa for like 28 years prior to that, and even a J1 (student visa) for a year, but anyway I didn’t give it much importance so well, I forgot and answered No on the statutory questions and raised the CSE to make them aware of my mistake (no ADE requested for schedule A though).
Other than that, hard to say... it’s not because of my country since another venezuelan is on this thread and his application is already approved, maybe travel history although not too extensive nor countries under alert that I know of, the rest of my application is pretty straightforward, nice IELTS, one job with 7 years of experience, recognized institution on ECA, one non accompanying dependent.
Thank you so much. You can only have the medical examinations performed by an authorized physician, I had mine done in Maracaibo since I live here, great Doc there are two (father and daughter) in Maracaibo and three in Caracas. On the following link you can look for their info!

And yeah, it’s been a while since I visited Caracas (like a year or so) and decided to take an 8 hour drive, it’s almost impossible to book a flight.
As Cansha said, gcms notes might let you know where it's stuck. Your AOR is closer to us so it's better you know what's going on...No, no gcms, maybe they are saving the best for last .... seriously speaking I don’t really know, it could be for a couple reasons, but nothing too determining...

Er.. Are we?? Right now me and @ishq74 are busy sulking and not in the best of our spirits.. But @cansha is good at it.Heheheh...@Prashant86_2000, ark it is Given the speed of the process, it certainly ain't no speed boat - ark's more likely, as you said
@cansha, @CoolSandy and @ishq74 - thanks for keeping our spirits up
I have seen people in other threads whose application was approved and some of them received their emails in 1,5 months others just took 2 weeks. So who knows when we will receive ours . Ircc is so unpredictable. At this point I think I will be happy as long as my ppr mail comes within the 6 months timeline. I am just two weeks away from reaching the 6 months mark@Vitesze was the first person whom I knew stayed approved for 3 weeks before he got his golden mail. In another 2 days I complete 1 month in approved status. Hope this wait ends in these 2 days..
