It’s not necessary but you can do that if you want

1. Add records according to the "Since what year?" so that it shows in that order

OR

2. Add records according "To" so that similar records with closer "To" dates are closer together.

By organizations they mean clubs/ societies/ groups... Rotary, Lions, Free Masons, Beyond borders etc.
