@tobs please advice me, i got to know my application was approved in Feb 6th, but no PPR mail yet. Should i email NDVO?
There are pros and cons to each place. Depends on personality, I think. The only thing not to like about Toronto is the prices. 134$ for TTC alone is way too much when you factor in other expenses you have to spend every month.
Have you moved from Toronto to Regina ? Better prices or just better jobs ?
Yes, Please do.@tobs please advice me, i got to know my application was approved in Feb 6th, but no PPR mail yet. Should i email NDVO?
Congrats.Slightly off-topic but sharing a good news. Both parents got visit visa.
How long did u stay after knowing that ur applocation was approved? Is it too early for me to mail NDVO?Yes, Please do.
There is a immitracker for those who are under SS, but it is not that active. Not many people are sent for SS, I guess.@Mr_nobody and @R.Tequila please start a SS tracker (excel sheet/ whatever) to provide more info on current SS timelines.
exaggeration... it was there... so storn shifted a bit ottawa went litle safe... specially east ottawa... kanata barhaven had fun... orleans ok.. Montreal was kaboom... max impact in toronto... i shovelled yesterday as storm stopped arn 1 pm WednesdayI heard you had quite bit of snow yesterday! I heard from my friends that people in Ottawa are spending the valentine day shoveling that snow off. A friend of mine even bought a shovel for her boyfriend for Valentine
Cool thx. Too few data points tho..There is a immitracker for those who are under SS, but it is not that active. Not many people are sent for SS, I guess.

@R.Tequila
True! That is the numbness that comes with SS. I don't care about a cpl of months sooner or later anymore!Cool thx. Too few data points tho..
I think most SS people don’t bother tracking anymore. Afterall, when you’ve waited like 8 months+, what really is the difference between getting PPR in 10 months as opposed to 12 months.
People just aren’t motivated anymore at that point..
as it seems your application is still under criminality and eligibility checks, our file also was 5 months under Eligibility and Criminality and 4 months under security screening. Once you pass the Eligibility and criminality you just need to wait for SS which is actually passed if you have no conviction in any countriesHello guys,

My main challenge was finding a decent job even though I completed an MBA from the top business school in Canada...one thing about Canada that's not good is that they don't consider any work experience in any other country worth anything at all...so its not so easy to find work...That's very nice of him, he was doing his job and being helpful and flexible, there's always a way.
Did you have too many challenges in the beginning ?
Do you consider yourself settled after these years ?
Any jaw-droppingly beautiful spots near where you live? If I travel with friends for a vacation there will you treat us to a lunch/dinner?There are pros and cons to each place. Depends on personality, I think.
Saskatchewan:
Cheaper rentals, cheaper car insurance, bus pass (80$/month), immediate Health Card (They issue immediately after you reside in the province), easier Driver's license test, extremely cold (windchill of -30 to -50 is very frequent in SK), small boring city, no events, mostly farming, no traffic
GTA:
Expensive rentals, expensive car insurance (could be double than SK if you are a new driver), expensive bus pass (140$/month), 3 months waiting for the Health Card, difficult procedure for full driver's license, warmer weather with more snow compared to SK, big city, lots of events and fun activities, lots of traffic.
Hope it helps
So you're from Ivey I gathered? My main challenge was finding a decent job even though I completed an MBA from the top business school in Canada...one thing about Canada that's not good is that they don't consider any work experience in any other country worth anything at all...so its not so easy to find work...
Unfortunately I cannot consider myself settled yet, even though I have graduated now, working for 6 months-ish...that's cause my family is still in Pakistan...feels like my life has been in a limbo for 2 years...now 8th month of post AOR...don't know how long I can just sit around and wait here...
