That's what we want to think. Even when Canadians are rude, they're still nice I would say.
I’m not too sure about that. That’s a generalisation on far positive side. If you read reviews for land border landings for some of the borders you will see there are “alleged” rude agents. So much so some refusing to process PR card unless you’re settling for good. So at the end its up to an individual agent. Plus there have been ample example of rude agents on call. So yeah Canadians can be rude because they are also people.

That's very nice to hear. The "random" isn't random, but as long as it's done professionally and with respect, it should be fine.

Have you been in Canada for long ?

2 years this month!

first time I came...I had to get my study permit at pearson and then go to London ontario, and the CBSA system was down...I fully expected them to tell me to come back tomorrow...but the guy was so nice he opened up a manual and made me a handwritten study permit because he realized I will be in London which is 2 hours away...

We're hoping for only positive experiences. If a few are rude, that's definitely alright as long as the big majority are super nice which is the case and what counts. There are countries that are the exact opposite and only a minority are nice, and despite that minority, it's the majority that counts too.

So you're moving from the U.S. to Canada I gather ?

That's very nice of him, he was doing his job and being helpful and flexible, there's always a way.

Did you have too many challenges in the beginning ?

Do you consider yourself settled after these years ?

I

It's a little bit too late for us as we're moving in a few days. We're more interested in after-arrival services I guess, especially help in finding an accommodation.
when did you get your PPR?

The only thing not to like about Toronto is the prices. 134$ for TTC alone is way too much when you factor in other expenses you have to spend every month.

Have you moved from Toronto to Regina ? Better prices or just better jobs ?
I have been living in Ottawa always... but telling ya.. how companies are scattered here... you know

I heard you had quite bit of snow yesterday! I heard from my friends that people in Ottawa are spending the valentine day shoveling that snow off. A friend of mine even bought a shovel for her boyfriend for Valentine :D :D :D
