***JUNE 2017***OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Received our AOR today. I created a username and account, but I can't find where to log in again. Does anyone have a link?
 
Hello everyone...m new here...m also june applicant..regarding my file everything going on in its normal manner...but I don't why cic never send any email to my husband!!!!

I hope so but I don't know what's wrong with my ECAS. It never updates for anything. Since I applied, I only have 2 lines under "Application Received"...
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 1, 2017.
  2. Medical results have been received.
That's all. No updates for SA Approval, about Documents Request, or anything.

I asked CIC Call Centre Agent, and he said you can report Technical Issue and ask them if this is normal or should there be any updates. I did so but haven't heard back from them yet. Let's see...!!

As long as you are getting updates through email, no need to worry about ECAS status.

Oh, thats normal. ECAS will not show updates related to Schedule A/PCC, medical, or additional documents that are asked. Thats all GCKey. Sponsor Approval will only show as Decision Made in the sponsor's ECAS, not the principal applicant's. ECAS status will keep staying at "Application Received" until it changes to "In Process" much later. This would be the next stage for you guys who are June1st and June 2nd applicants.

The next update/email for you guys (June 1st applicants) should be about the ECAS status change from "Application Received" to "In Process". Thats what I meant. ECAS is pretty pointless up to this point.

We finally recieved AOR yesterday July 23 ( App sent 6/5/17). Tried to link our account but it would not link ,both yesterday when we received the email and just again and got locked out. My issues are the following;
My husband is a Jr and don't know if we need to include it or not?
For City of birth, he was born in Amarillo but in the application I stated " Amarillo,TX" will this affect it?
Also for Number of Family members in this application, I don't know if I should put 2 or 4? we do have 2 children but they were born in Canada and I will not be sponsoring them.

I will try to link again tomorrow.

ECAS will show updates regarding the document request sent by CIC. It won't specifically say which document though. For example my ecas says 'we sent you correspondence regarding ......******' and it's about my AOR, schedule A and PCC request ( two separate lines are for AOR and document requests) But for some people CIC doesn't update these lines on correct time for some wierd reason. Anyways there's nothing to worry if you are not able to see these lines in ecas as long as you are getting emails..

Hey guys,

I receive AOR last Thursday and till now fail to link the application.
I then received email as sponsor that application has been received in friday. from there I check Ecas and its show decision made ( As sponsor ).
Today morning I receive a schedule A request. Till this moment I cant link the application.

Not sure how things working but I belive decision made mean something related to sponsor. is it approved to sponser my wife or still waiting. Who know!
