Sorry, I guess you misunderstood what I was originally asking, on the forms it is asking to provide details of personal history for the past 10 years. For example:

From To
01-2016 ??-? ?? <-----do we put todays date in or leave it blank or handwrite in 'present', since we can't type anything but a date in
03-2010 12-2015
01-2006 02-2010

I hope that makes more sense :)

Okay so because I'm anal, I didn't do that. I put it in a time order with no overlap. Definitely put a date in and date out. Put today's date in.

I lived in the UK FOR 2 years and had multiple trips in and out, so mine was like this:
05-2008 - 07-2008 - England, WHP, WORKING AT XXX
07-2008 - 08-2008 - HOLIDAY, 1 WEEK, NO VISA RQD
08-2008 - 09-2008 - England , WHP, WORKING AT XXX

so basically I didn't have any overlap at all with dates. My last date in the list was the date I signed the paperwork. Ended up being 5 A4 pages long!

Hope that helps?!

We just wrote in "present" once everything else was typed in and printed.

Hi everyone,
I requested my husbands notes and they emailed me asking for my husband's consent. He emailed me the document and i forwarded it to the ATIP by email on sept 2. They gave me till 23 to email them. However, till now i still didn't hear anything from them. I am not sure if they received my email or not. What should I do?

i dont have any update on my medical at all since my file is received..it says only we receieved your application on bla bla..that drives me crazy; no updates on medical ...

Same here.
No updates on medical. Neither on ECAS not in MYCIC.
Well in my case Medical was done before my spouse had to change her passport with a new name. And medical was submitted with previous name. So i think that confused the situation and i didnt get any updates in regards to medical nowhere.

Congratulations to all DM!!! :D :o :D

Seeing these decision made coming I'm in doubt about the landing process... how is it usually handled?
My husband and our son are with me in Canada now as visitors. With DM will they be able to land within BC?
Is it better to send to VO a representative document for them with me as a representative before DM?
Or can I just write an email to the VO asking how to handle the situation?

They are visa exempt so i fear that some crucial documents could be mailed to their home address in Italy. :(

WOO HOO! We received my COPR in the mail today (it came to my sponsor's house in Canada, where I am currently "visiting" so that worked out well!!).

Just to recap for reference: I'm a U.S. citizen. We submitted our application on June 1, 2016. Received AOR on June 22. SA on August 2. ECAS changed to DM on Sept. 14. So it took a grand total of 5 days for the COPR to show up via mail.
In total our process took a little less than 4 months from start to approval.

Congrats to all those who have received DM and are waiting for their mail! :D :D :D

Congratulations. I just want to ask, did you put your US address as your mailing address on the application?
How come they send COPR letter to your sponsor's address ? Is that always the case? I'm sponsoring my wife who is a US PR

I did put my U.S. address on the application, but it came to my sponsor's house. I think this happened for someone else as well who posted a few days ago - their COPR was sent to the SA. I'm not sure if this was an error on CIC part's or if its typical for it be sent to the SA.
