I've noticed it's the same for everyone, must be a default.

It's for if you get a doc request and will be blank unless they request something

You are looking at ECAS, not myCIC (as the previous poster posted)

my status update but what means
"WE STARTED PROCESSING XXXXX APPLICATION ON SEPTEMBER 1.

it means is already in LIMA OFFICE??
because i didnt received any email yet from them.

Hi guys , we sent our app on June 14 , our SA received on August 22, on September 1 appears we start processing your application, it means is already in Lima office ? Because I didn't receive any email

Some questions for the group:
1. My wife just had her passport renewed- she is my sponsor. The new passport has a different passport # than her old one that we submitted with our application. We have already received SA, so do we need to notify CIC of the new passport number? Or is this irrelevant now that we have SA?

2. I have tried repeatedly, using a variety of different combinations (PA- my info, my wife's info, etc) to link our application through MyCIC and every time it says it can't find any application. We can see updates though through eCAS but it clearly is not as much information as MyCIC. I am supremely frustrated with this. Has anyone else had issues linking their application? Is it worth contacting CIC to find out the issue and get help with this? Is there some magic combo of information that is working for people?

It's only been a month for us since we received SA, and my wife regularly reminds me this is all within the time limits but I'm leaving Canada in early October because my six months as a visitor will be up. Since it's close to the holidays and I was planning to visit family anyways we aren't applying to get the visitor period extended. I'm anxious to have this whole process resolved and get this visa already!

I would think that since she is the PA, her passport info is irrelevant.

Use the PA's info only. Try to use as little information as possible. Try both 1 and 2 as the number of people on the application. Add more if there are dependents. I had issues linking up until they started working on my application.
