SA.
We received your application to sponsor xyz on June 21, 2016.
We started processing your application on July 7, 2016.
PRA
We received XYZ application for permanent residence on June 21, 2016.
We started processing XYZ application on August 19, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

can someone will help me what does its means by and i cant link my account also..................

It means that your sponsorship has been approved (if you didn't check off to process the application if SA is denied) and they are now working on or have received the principal applicants side.

Did you get an email notification when MY CIC status changed on Background Check - In Process? Just curious to see how MyCIC works for changes in update.....

Also, anybody know when three lines appear on Applicant side -- what it actually means from an operational perspective?

Hi,

You ll recv email if there is any update in CIC. Also check whether u hve mention your email id or ir spouse's.

And when ur file is transfered to your VO and its processing starts third line would be added.

Actually, no. I didn't receive an e-mail when it changed. I did receive an e-mail two days before they updated my visitor extension as approved.

You might not get an AOR2. Some, like Ottawa don't send them out.

That's interesting as it says that whenever there is an update on our files on My CIC, we are suppose to get email notifications.

Guess, we still need to keep checking while they work out the kinks

Actually, no. I didn't receive an e-mail when it changed. I did receive an e-mail two days before they updated my visitor extension as approved.

MyCIC does not send emails for every update. It sends email whenever there's a message in MyCIC. I believe they only send messages concerning the interview, if scheduled.

cjg1987, what does it say on PRA side? in the main page when you log in and see two columns for SA and PA.
if it says "In progress", it means that you've got SA.

It says "application received" on PRA side
