Hello, just wanted to post that I submitted my application at the end of June and yesterday got a letter accepting the Sponsorship half of the application saying they are forwarding the Application for Permanent Residence to Ottawa to be processed.

They received the applications on June 30th and started processing on August 22nd, with the letter being dated for August 23rd.
We included everything in the package except a police certificate as the FBI is being slow with results (and rejected my first finger print set) but I included evidence of my attempts and a note explaining I will send the certificate as soon as I get it. I recently sent in a new finger print card to the FBI, if this one is also rejected what will that do for my immigration? The FBI's reply can take up to 4 months and I read immigration processing for US citizens can take as fast as 6 months.
