JUNE 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

An update:

We received the AOR1 on June 28. About a week ago I was able to sign in to eCAS for each of us.

For Sponsor it currently shows "in process". When I click the link it says:

Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor XXXX XXXXX on June 10, 2016.
We started processing your application on June 28, 2016.



For Principal Applicant it shows "application received". When I click the link it says:

Permanent Residence
We received XXXX XXXXX's application for permanent residence on June 10, 2016.
Medical results have been received.


Things are moving along.

It's certainly frustrating how random this all seems. I'll feel relieved only once I have an irrevocable "approved" in front of me!

What constitutes to Rejection ?

SA rejection is normally due to the sponsor recieving social assistance or due to default on previous undertakings that haven't been paid back. Sometimes criminality of the sponsor is reason for refusal. Also, unpaid child support will result in refusal.

SA is the easy part.

Happy to see most of all June applicants got their AOR1. Congrats..

I just wanna clear one thing with you guys.. on my sponsor (husband) ecas it is showing that SA is under process from June 22nd, 2016..

My application received by courier at cic on June 3rd
In AOR1 quoted by cic as application received on June 6th..
We got AOR1 on June 23rd, 2016..
From which date have to count for SA deadline?

Hello all!

I would like an opinion or two...

My daughter's passport had the incorrect birth date on it. I submitted copies of this with my application with an explanation that I would be sending copies of the corrected passport when I received it.

I have since received the corrected passport.

My question...is it better to wait until they start processing the PA side and I get a UCI number? or should I submit a case specific inquiry now with just the file number? or should I wait until they request the updated passport?

Send it to CPC-M now with file number and sponsor UCI.

Then, send it again to the processing VO when the file is transferred.

Do attach a cover letter explaining what it is your sending and ask to attach it to your file.

Include as much personal information for both sponsor and PA as possible.

Got AOR today
Application received 28th June 2016

Congratulations newbee1990. My application was received on 29th June 2016. Now I will be waiting for the good news.
