From 53, it has change to 56days for SA. I've seen in CIC site, just now.

Ahhhhh, seriously?? ??? ???


Question: I noticed my husband has our old address when we log onto ECAS, I looked at how to change it but it seems to give me a run around.
Does anyone know how to change it?? I don't know if it is my husbands mistake or CIC's......but we need it fixed before anything gets sent there.

Just got an email from CIC confirming that they have received my application on June 21 to sponsor my husband.

It has a UCI number at the first of the email.

So is this email considered my AOR1??

Yes they changed it to 56 days. but i would suspect it varies depends on the volume of application they are processing.

Either they forgot to change the address or they haven't fully updated the information. either way you can always change the home and mailing address on ECAS there's a button that says " update home address" or "update mailing address"

Was your application received in CIC on Jun 21st? Or Jun 21st was when they started working on your file?
I am asking cause mine was received on Jun 21st and I have not heard anything yet... I got a confirmation from Canada Post that was successfully delivered on Jun 21st.

We have the same timeline mine received on 21st too. I'm becoming paranoid here lol keep checking my email every minute looll.

Well so much for accelerating the processing of family class applications. I am guessing the Canada Day long weekend and summer vacations and kids out of school may have contributed to that.

I also noticed that since many months ago, the total processing time for Philippines seems to be stuck at 13 months for a really long time, so there is no improvement at all. Given that 2015 had the largest number of immigrants from Philippines, and assuming the bulk of the backlog would also be Philippines applications, why hasn't there been an impact yet?

FYI, I am able to check ECAS and I just received my AOR1 on July 5th. Also they also posted this 'We started processing your application on July 4, 2016.'
So now are they are just verifying that I sent all the documents?? Or do they consider 'processing' receiving the application??? I am just curious because it says they started processing BEFORE the AOR1 was sent, is that how it works??? I'm wondering what they mean by 'processing'.....lol

Our AOR was received June 30 and we're not on ECAS yet. I tried entering both the sponsor and applicant information and nothing is there yet.

I can't find the 'update home address or update mailing address'.....it says to go to our visa office in Egypt, which is not going to be easy.

I'm not sure why they put the old address down for him but the correct one for me :'(

Yah, ours looks a bit different than yours. Ours says to change this mailing address, contact us. And goes a long way of explaining how to change it, you know typical Gov't stuff. Thanks anyways At least mine is right, lol.

I sent my file on 8 June and received by CIC 9 June. its been almost 1 month and still waiting for AOR
any idea....is 1 month timing is normal ? because mostly everybody getting in 20 days

CIC is known to be inconsistent. I wouldn't worry as yet.

Heh...still no AOR, waiting. I know it can be longer than 20 days, but I just want to know that our application wont be sent back....And also some ppl say that they dont receive any AOR...and the first communication with CIC is SA.

Hey Guys,

Received my AOR on June 28th.

I can see three lines on sponsor side and 2 lines on PA side.

Is anyone received AOR on June 28th or after able to see the same?
