I think
test date will be next month after 15 aug and for the test invitation letter will be end of this month
bec according to april and may time line after processing dates take 20 days total to get invitation for test and test date after an other 15 to 20 days.

the test invitation letter will be send via regular mail, email or thru ecas?

The test invite is by post and they normally updates the eCAS also in 1-2 days after sending the invite. From this week, IRCC has restarted with Canada Post mailings after being suspended for last week.

hi there I'm new on this forum I want to know that I came here in December 2011 as a student and got my permanent residency in July 2015. It's been one year after PR. Am I eligible to apply for citizenship?? Because I heard that need to be here 3 yrs out of 5 years. I'm gonna complete 5 yrs in December 2016.

Hi K87
First of all welcome to the forum. to answer your question i believed the 3/5 years is no longer in effect after they passed a new bill amending citizenship requirements sometime in June 2015 if my memory serves me right.
The old rule may have made you eligible as time spent as student counted for half - plus the extra year that you just spent as PR.
Unfortunately it is required for you to spend 4/6 years as a PR. More info on eligibility on the link below
