If your sponsor is canadian citizen i suggest to check your application status at cic.gc using his/her client ID because in our case, we keep on waiting for their email since day 1 but no email was sent until my husband decided to check on cic.gc the status of our application using his client id and upon checking surprisingly our application is on process since july 10 already.. Maybe they just directly update the client id account rather than sending an email if the sponsor has client id. (Just sharing maybe it could help)

Anyone here who sent their application on June 9th or after? As per Fed ex tracking number, CPC received my application on June 9th but I have not received any AOR yet.

That's okay, so far people have been receiving AOR up to 40 days after the courier actually drops it off, so there's still time. And as mentioned above, sometimes CIC isn't sending AOR, but simply updating the online application status instead.

I am a Citizen, Sponsoring my wife. How do I check online? what is the Client ID, where do I get that id? I didn't hear anything from cic yet, its 30 days so far the application received by cic (Through private courier).

Hi everyone for those asking regarding the client id that im saying, my husband get the client id number to his citizenship certificate. In our application form that we passed to cic, one of them had a heading of "APPLICATION TO SPONSOR, SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT AND UNDERTAKING" theres a box that you need to fill up in line with the box number 12 if im not mistaken and there you will fill up citizen, date , client id...

To check: go to cic.gc.ca click my application, then click check your application then follow the succeeding questions..

There are 8 people from June 1-10 who don't have AOR yet. CIC still isn't using any kind of logical pattern hahaha

Just an observation, but it looks like no one from US has received an AOR yet. Curious
