Thank you. I'm just really confused by all this. All this waiting, it's scary really. How can I find out if Canada Post has sent it?maartenvg said:@ VGR1990 we've only just started receiving confirmations that the CIC has received applications from early June. Currently it's 40+ days after sending that you'll get this so called Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR). See here: only 4 AORs so far. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LAzbar2H01x8U78J_mL5LcMsMCT2_HN9bm5s5Y3gh-k/edit#gid=0
It's 30+ days from 1 stage AOR until you get your sponsorship approval, after which it is sent to your outland visa office.
US timeline for outland processing depends on where it is processed, but I believe it ranges from 8-10 months after sponsorship approval for the majority of applications.
I have the receipt here but it keeps telling me invalid format. At the bottom of the receipt is R:#######.######; which I assume is the tracking number. But the website doesn't tell me what the proper format is for the tracking number.maartenvg said:When you sent it with Canada Post, did you get a receipt with a tracking number? If so, you can check it via https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/track/personal/findByTrackNumber?execution=e1s1
Congrats! i hope mine and all of us will be deliver soon...chilkootcee said:Congratulations to the AOR's
That's a little odd. I'm sure you could take the receipt into the post office and ask for clarification if that's the tracking number. If it's not, maybe they can look the package up for you in the system.VGR1990 said:I have the receipt here but it keeps telling me invalid format. The format I got was XX000000000XX where X represents a letter and 0 represents a number.VGR1990 said:I have the receipt here but it keeps telling me invalid format.
