Ours went "In Process" on November 27th, so 9 days in process now...no "Decision Made" yet. Hopefully no news is good news!!!!

Fingers crossed the wait will be over soon Misseliza. Could be any day now.

Logged into ECAS this morning, like every Monday morning, to find our status changed to Decision Made. What a relief, even for a relatively straightforward application. Now to watch for the COPR in the mail. BC here we come!!

It's another week to wait... hopefully i hear something soon! I leave on the 25th for 2 weeks to be with him - if all goes well we will have good news for the new year!!

if not we plan on going in personal to the VO to check our status! this is awful!

Congrats Yaak! May I ask when you last checked ECAS? Once a week? I read on this forum that it is updated every Tuesday (meaning if an update was made to your file the data will be synced on the next Tuesday) and be available when you log in).

Why does Ecas SUCK?!? That website is so unstable and I'm lucky to be able to even log in and check the status during normal business hours. It's so frustrating!!!!

Congrats Yaak! May I ask when you last checked ECAS? Once a week? I read on this forum that it is updated every Tuesday (meaning if an update was made to your file the data will be synced on the next Tuesday) and be available when you log in).

Thank you. I've not been a daily ECAS checker, though some here are. I usually check on Mondays, because of anecdotal reports of weekend updates to the system, and on Wednesdays because CIC says they typically update on Tuesdays. Last week I checked on Wednesday to find nothing new (even though ECAS now shows our application as having been In Process since Monday the 1st). Obviously, the system was updated since last Wednesday and it wasn't the oft mentioned Tuesday update either. I suspect actual practice is a bit more haphazard.

It was glitched for over a week it seemed but would work in the evenings. It seems to be up this morning

I'm really happy you are going down there for 2 weeks to be together...so exciting that you will be there for Christmas and New Years! If my husband gets approved before Christmas, he will be on the next flight here as soon as his passport is stamped (god-willing). We are so sick and tired of being apart, as I know you understand that feeling well!!! I really really think your application is going to go In Process soon...I need to stop checking E-Cas like a crazy nut...

I have a question. For non visa-exempt countries, When does the applicant receive their COPR? And is it just a piece of paper or what....also do they receive it when they go to the visa office to get their passport stamped with the visa, or at the airport in Canada when they land in Canada? Any help is appreciated.

Hallelujah!!

My partner just got COPR!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPPPEEEE!!!!

We got DM last Tuesday, and they mailed out his COPR to his home in New Jersey - he JUST got the mail moments ago!

He is a officially a permanent resident of Canada, and will be landing on Saturday! He was coming to visit me for the holidays, this is such an amazing Christmas present.
