i am confused,,,my number does not have a hyphen? could the number your looking at be wrong?

I don't haven't a hyphen on my UCI# But when the lady called me from CIC they said first four numbers then **** - **** . I use my husbands application # and his info to get into ecas.

I still cant see nothing from ECAS, it says " We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet.

is this normal? ???

P.S: File was received on June 15 and Recived an email on 8 September saying, we met the requirements for eligibility as sponsor and forwarded to Visa Office Abroad(DAKAR ,SENEGAL) for further processing.

UCI is an identification number of the sponsor, maybe you should put the sponsors surname and birthday instead of the applicants info. Applicants will get their own UCI as soon as they receive their PR.

You can log-in with or without hyphen.. UCI is your permanent resident number as well. In PR cards, the ID number has hyphen on it. But, with the letter they sent, they don't put hyphen,.

Got an AOR2 in the email from Beijing VO this morning. This day couldn't be more happier)
Well this is faster than I thought it would be. I wish everyone else's application process would go light speed fast!

Mine works now , I can see my ECAS . I found my mistake, i used to use as Applicant my surname and my birthday and my place of birth instead of using the SPONSOR birthday and place of birth. if your UCI didnt come with hyphen, put the four numbers then hyphen and the four remain numbers . Or you can put the 8 numbers without hyphen. Both ways, it works.

Thanks for your help. He tried it online but it's not working for his name (maybe too common?...I'll try to call the visa office then to see if they would accept the previous one we enclosed. Sigh....

Quick question..
Sponsorship was approved ( ) and letter said that application has been forwarded to VO abroad. Will all further communication (e-mails) be sent to me (sponsor) or my husband (principle applicant) ? He put down his e-mail and did not request a representative.

I assume it depends on which office and what the communication entails... I have been CC'd for communication between my wife and the visa office.

How and when will I get the sponsorship approval?
I sent my appication on 21 july 2014 and CIC recieved it on 23 july 2014.
Have the others that applied in June got their Sponsorship approval or AOR yet.
Pls let me know.

If you put down an e-mail address as method of contact you will receive approval of sponsorship there. I am not sure if they still send documents via regular mail. You can check the spreadsheet to see when others in this thread have received approval (http://tinyurl.com/June-2014-Outland).

I can see on Ecas it is mentioned that,

We sent you a letter on September 11, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Does that mean i have got the sponsorship approval or AOR?

I have not received anything in the mail yet but remember put an email, Havnt received an email either.
Can anyone tell me what email address will the email come from?

It's most likely your Sponsorship Approval. They sent it to us by mail also (even though the sponsor wrote an email address on the application).

Hi Thanks for you reply,
I am the sponsor and the applicant in my wife.
I remember reading in the application that if we mention an email all coresspondance will be done via email.
Has anyone got any emails from cic? Whats is the email address they send it from? Will need to check my Junk folder.
Did any of you guys receive a letter in the mail too?
