Thanks a ton that u ans my query. The steps which u mentioned is this same followed by visa office?

Like first AOR> SA> PPR > so on as u mentioned. For getting file processed.

Ideally, the order should be:

AOR (not always though...but previous PR's, FSW, would have UCI already and can see Application received in ECAS).
SA
Medical results received or email sent to applicant - AOR 2 (not all VO's have AOR 2)
Interview letter / request for docs
In process - ECAS all docs check out and being processed for approval)
PPR / re- medical (if needed)
Decision Made - ECAS
COPR (confirmation of Permanent Resident) - visa stamp in passport

We received your application to sponsor xxxxxx xxxxxx on June 9, 2014.

The following tables will help you understand the status of your application.
Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class Living Outside Canada
Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class Living Outside Canada for Sponsors Living in the Province of Quebec

Just wondered if you clicked on, the link that says Application class living outside Canada, as above? it shows more detailed info.

It reads "We received your application for permanent residence on June 9, 2014." My partner has a working holiday visa for Canada so he was able to log in using his client ID number on his work permit. Yup, we clicked on that link..

Got SA today, ;D

congrats to every one else that got sa today, and good luck to those, who are still waiting.

Actually, I did wonder if they were going to give me sa, as I didnt supply option c notice of accessment.

First off, congrats! I am a little nervous about our application since I also didn't supply an option C notice of assessment. I am wondering how did you address it in your application? Did you write an explanation?

Thanks

Hi Sweetiepie46, Yes I got an e-mail from. We both have UCI already, I I am PR here and my wife, extended her visitor visa.
Here is what. CIC said.

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of xxxx xxx and family (if applicable).
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the
Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office by e-mail,

I have a question since it's getting closer to receive AOR or SA, CIC send it to the sponsor or principal applicant email address?
and if they require additional document when is the time to ask?
thanks in advance and fingers crossed for everyone who's waiting patiently ;)

They send sa to the sponsor, in our case by e- mail.
They can ask for additional documents, any time during the process.

Apologies for this noob question (which has likely been answered many times) ... but does SA mean our application has been forwarded to the appropriate VO? The SA I received showed it was going to Sydney, Australia. Does this mean my application is in Sydney or is this "transfer" process an additional step that happens later?

:)

Good day mate ;), SA, means sponsor approved. It will be transfered to Sydney, I think it takes a week or two?

I was confused because according to sweetiepie46's details, SA and the "transfer" happened on the same date. ;D

yes, that's normal. the day the sponsor is found eligible is the day CIC "transfers" the file. it's the date that the application gets registered in the system basically.
