Welli haven't heard a thing but someone who got sponsorship in July just got in process then another one who got sponsorship in Sept just got Dm . Nothing makes sense with London .

No updates from us but thought I would join in the generally painful crawl that are these Ottawa June applications. We are CIC-Ottawa, common-law sponsorship of a US citizen. No children.

We have managed to get to "in processing", but as another Tuesday has come and went, we haven't had an update.

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2014.

We started processing your application on February 23, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

I have got same updates only thing is that thy hv started processing my application 24th jan n i have applied in 6th july 2014..
If your medical is going to expired thn thy wil ask for medical reassessment that's wht thy ask me n i hv done it on 12th feb.. still no updates..

I have a problem, I sent my PP to dakar visa office, dakar says PP are ready for pick up, DHL goes to embassy and does not find any PP. Wrote to ambassy to know whereabouts of the passport, it is taking a forever for visa office to reply my. I am completely frustrated.

Embassy says pp ready for pick-up on March 9, informed DHL March 10. The return envelop was prepaid.

What can I do?

We just received a request for a second medical. Good news or bad news, who knows! requesting the notes as well.

I wish mine would say in process, but I still only have application received! So frustrating. And of course family and friends constantly ask if I've heard anything, and it just makes me think about it more and worry more. ::sigh::

As a July applicant processing through Ottawa, this gives some hope. At least they started processing you, I guess I have to look toward end of March now.....waiting is horrible. The weeks are dragging on and on. It makes me want to stop checking online, but I do every day!

They requested our right to residence fee but never set us to in processing.... So obviously someone was working on our app but apparently they don't always update ecas to in processing.

i think it depends what else is requested with the RPRF. it looks like they requested more info from you, so that is possibly why you haven't changed to in process. also *sometimes* when more information is requested, they will wait until AFTER the due date listed on the request before doing anything with the new information. If JUST the RPRF and/or PP are requested, generally IP happens quicker than when other info is requested. For ottawa, in the past, IP means they have everything they need to issue your visa, and DM means it's been mailed out.
