wow!! congrats... i am starting to feel a little sad, i submitted june 26 and still nothing? June 30th is being looked at - anyone know if this is normal? :'(

yes, this is normal. it's important to remember, even though they are processing apps from a certain date, that does not mean they are finished with ALL apps received before that date. applications are batched and given to more than 1 person to handle. you can't assume anything is "wrong" because someone else's app got approved before yours did.

also, if an application had missing documents or additional requests, the received date will be reflective of when those documents were sent or the date specified in the request letter, not when the package was originally delivered.

Hey Mrs. DoryBaby, the waiting is excruciating I know!! I don't know about you, but my husband and I are living apart throughout this process and it just makes it that much more difficult!! Your SA will come soon and you will feel so relieved Everybody kept telling me not to worry, but I worried anyways! I'm sending out positive vibes for you and every other June applicant still waiting.

@misseliza thank you so so much for your kind words and good vibes, my hubby and i are living apart and its so hard and lonely. with work and vacation approval time off is limited and makes the wait all the while more difficult!! thanks for your message though - sometimes it just helps knowing someone has been through what i have been through and they got out of it and are doing well, so thank you!!

none of those. haven't recieved any email yet nor a mail. just call cic call center today and they told me that Sponsorship has been approved and file is transferred to New Delhi. when I asked them that I haven't recieved any email yet then she said that they have sent me an email but it can take 5 business days. if I won't hear anything in those days then I have to call them back.
