happy janmashtami sheen1990. I am still left to get SA as well as AOR. I am expecting it to come this week begore Wednesday. just wanted to know has anyone recieved their AOR/SA in their junk folder? I am expecting it this week and I have kept push notification on my cell phone if the new email comes. despite of that I still refresh and don't know why my junk folder doesn't show up. because of work and everything. I m having less chance to open up my laptop. pretty bad days going without my wife here in Canada...

My husband received in Inbox only, but yes for safer side u may keep checking ur mail id spam n junk also. I m still waiting to get AOR 2 from NDVO. I hope they will be giving that bcz most people dinn got the second AOR but still there files are in processing.

Well i m little confuse , can anyone help me telling the below two points....

1)that in interview they will call or ask for a meeting at embassy. ? My husband is saying u surely get a call for enquiry.

2) that i mostly stay at my parents house in Delhi. But my inlaws r in punjab so would u think ut create any problem. As a sumtym here n sumtym dere . ?

according to what I know there are two ways they can interview. not sure though because that's what I have heard. they can either make a conference call to you and your husband and cross check the answers of you both. OR there will an interview of yours in NDVO by a consulate.

secondly, it doesn't really matter like where you stay. I and my wife are gujarati. I belong to vadodara and my wife lives in ahmedabad with her parents because of her work. so I don't think there will be a problem. I am hoping that there was a form in which we have to provide addresses of last 10 years. whatever time your husband was with you yo should provide the address of your husband's place. other than that it will work in my opinion.

hi a question to all experts out here. today I got fed up of waiting so long. so I logged into cic with mine, as a sponsor PR card number. found out that they recieved my sponsorship application as well as permenant resident application for my wife. I got so happy that they recieved it. is that what we call AOR? I haven't recieved any email whatsoever. and how will the status change once my eligibility to sponsor approves? thanks.

My husband just got a call from the Canadian Embassy requesting more documents. I didn't realize they needed the birth certificates and immigration photos of his dependants even when they weren't coming with him. I'm excited that they are looking at his file already but annoyed that now we have to wait for him to get the birth certificates which takes at least 15 days...grrrr

On June 23rd. my timelines are just underneath.

It will change to "Decision Made" under the Sponsorship section when you are approved.

Ugh...that's frustrating to have that happen! Did you happen to receive an e-mail (AOR2) from the Havana visa office when they received your package there? At any rate, that's great news that they've already started to do things with your file. Good luck!!

Thanks! I didn't receive an AOR2 but I guess I will take this as an acknowledgement that they have it at least they didn't send it all back to me. I'm so mad at myself for missing the birth certs! I will still celebrate the fact that they have it and seem to be working on it already.
