I am from Jamaica my is sponsoring me under conjugal partner. Our package arrive at cpc miss. yesterday. my question is looking at the processing time for some countries ..its long.... are we really looking at such a lengthy wait?

Roxie B why are you applying conjugal ,can your sponsor not come to Jamaica?Can you leave Jamaica.Is there a reason you can't marry or live with each other for a year.I'm not sure about Jamaican laws but if any of the above is possible you can not apply conjugal

I wasnt the one who did the application my sponsor and his relative did.. they have done it several times already im told....i was telling them to do state tht we are common law cause we are engage... but we haven't LIVED together for The 2 years ...only one and it was with my mom. so there is the technicality.

Conjugal doesn't apply to Jamaica as there is no reason for anyone not to get married, unless you are a same sex couple trying to Marry in Jamiaca as it is not allowed there.

You do not need to live together for 2 yeras. You just need 1. A full 365 days ... I am sorry to tell you that if you were able to live together, your application is going to be denied . You will not qualify for conjugal . This is very mis leading , but if you read it through it will explain it is only for people who can not live together, or can not get married.
