Hi there, just wondering if you could help .... My application was recieved JUNE 26, 2014 - i go on the site everyday but it says it has not been updated since July 16, 2014.

I am feeling sad because it says they are still looking at May? which means still a month to go? any ideas or thoughts?

I ALSO NEED INPUT. My husband is cuban, he and I were invited to my cousins wedding in October. I WOULD LOVE TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO CELEBRATE WITH HIM BY MY SIDE AND WANTED TO INVITE HIM.... do you think a visitors vista request would be approved if the application hasn't been looked at yet? I DONT WANT TO ROCK THE BOAT....

Honestly? I doubt it. It would probably take months for that application to be looked at as well and then they are usually denied.

It looks like CIC is running 57 days for Sponsor Approval from date of receipt. I've added colour bars and formulas to the spreadsheet for SA. We should get several more in the coming days. Good news, indeed

Hi all, am filling background/declaration form now, and under personal history section, i was unemployed at a point and i wrote unemployed under activity. What will i put under "status in the country" and "Name of facilities as applicable". Although i put Not applicable under company/ facilities, am i right?
