Is there anybody who's gor Rprf and still havent got a PPR ... its been 50 days.. its killing my life ...

Thank you June26PR. My medical expires Feb. 26th, 2016 if the validity has not been extended by CIC. The I talked to call center agent over a month ago, he said they were considering whether to extend it. Since I got PPR I think it is extended. I am not sure what the new expiration date it. I will post it once I find out.

Thank you June26PR. My medical expires Feb. 26th, 2016 if the validity has not been extended by CIC. The I talked to call center agent over a month ago, he said they were considering whether to extend it. Since I got PPR I think it is extended. I am not sure what the new expiration date it. I will post it once I find out.

Lucky Man.. Today they sent me a Medical request again. I can see in GTMS note that my last medical result is valid till March 22,2016.

I also received medical request .As per CIC Medical is expired as it is more than one year .Also background check and criminality check is completed only waiting for medical .

Hope that is good sign .

Oh that means I am not the only one..
But I got medical request only for me, not for my dependent... strange!!
What about you..

Me and my depends received medical for second time after 1 year of expiry .

As per CIC call center background verification and criminality check is completed recently .

It might not be a bad thing if you got medical reassessment request from cic. I got medical reassessment request on Jan 27, 2016, had it done on Jan 30, and got my PPR on Feb 3rd. I do not know if it is just coincidence, but from what I know is that the expiry date of the immigrant visa will be the same as the medical expiry date, so if your medical is expired, cic cannot issue you a visa unless you redo the medical. However, if you always reside within Canada, most likely they won't ask you to redo the medical, cic will extend the expiry date automatically.

PPR : Feb 25 2016

I have a question, i was going through the immigration lawyer, so when I got ppr, I mailed CIC from my own email ID for Visa Office change, Has anybody been through that? or should I tell my lawyer to send an email from his ID>.. would be really helpful if anybody has an experience in this
