I know that PPR = passport request

What does COPR Means? Does it means letter at the time of landing? or Does it means letter with PPR?

COPR = Confirmation of Permanent residence... it is landing papers in simple terms.

Okay. I am asking as my passport will expire in November 2016.

If my passport expire AFTER I land, but BEFORE I get pr card do I need a new COPR?

your passport should have atleast 6 months validity when u get PPR.. so if u get PPR within next 6 months you are fine.

1. how long it takes for stamping visa?
2. how do I take an appointment for landing in an Immigration office inland, say Etobicoke, I don't find a phone number for that

I got PPR last week and sent my and my wife passport very next day. Today I got this below email.

The processing of your application is complete. However, this letter is a reminder to submit the stated missing documentation within 7 days of this letter.

Missing Document(s):
o Original passport
o Confirmation of Permanent Residency (CoPR)
o Two Passport sized photos for my wife.
o Other:___

But I already sent my passport and I didnt get my CoPR. I dont understand. Did anyone get this kind of email. I dont know how to respond. Any guidance please. Thank you

No, it should not be an issue, i was just wondering that if anyone gets PPR is it mandate to get their status changed to Decision made, or sometimes no ECAS status get changed.

Yes still 3 lines, is that an issue?

No I didnt get my passport back. It reached Ottawa last Tuesday. I don't know whats happening.

Is that normal? Someone had a similar experience?

We have our appointment for Medical next Monday, so excited to see things moving forward!!!

Here is the timeline:

AOR Received.: 11-08-2014
Interview: 07-2015
Med's Request: 28-10-2015
RPRF: 29-10-2015

I checked canada post no sign. I called call center this morning , they advised me to send an email stating passport is with CIC and not yet received the CoPR. so did the same. I dont understand why are they confusing so much.
