Glad to see me 3rd line today "We started processing your Application on August 13" after a long wait!!!

Meantime, the validity of my passport is expiring in 6 months. So I had applied for a new Passport, and have got it yesterday. I sent email to CIC yesterday night around 1'O clock (Toronto time), requesting them to update my new passport details on my file and to process my PR application as soon as possible. I was surprised to see the reply from CIC today morning around 8'O clock that my passport details are updated in the System and My file will be seen by the Officer in due time. Now ECAS is showing the third line.
I am travelling to my country by first week of Sep and I hope I would receive my passport along with my Wife’s and Child’s passport before that date so that I can make my landing when I come back with my family to Canada after 10 days.

Hi All,

I mailed to CIC asking about my status and I saw reply 13th Aug stating:

Dear XXXX,

Our office confirms that your application is currently in queue to be processed.
Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization. An officer will be in contact with you in due course.........

Routine reply I guess, but just thought of sharing.

btw, I also see 3rd line mentioning "Started processing your Application on Aug 11th 2014 (AOR date).

Got the third line "We started processing your application on July 17, 2014"
It is exactly one year prior to the due date in my GCMS notes.
I don't know if we should be hopeful of something this month itself or is it just CIC fooling around with us.

Just noticed that the the third line is with 2014 instead of 2015, after seeing all the posts. So, it's not a happy news for us??? may be CIC wants to inform us that out file is safe with them since AOR and not to bother them anymore asking about status!?!?

Happy to see third like in my ECAS status.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on July 24, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.

I don't want to be too much optimistic at this point. This change seems to be a batch update instead of a VO reviewing our file. I can observer this change happened across the board including the one applied after us (July, Aug, etc,.).

Due to this update at-lease we know that our files are not miss placed. I pray for everyone of us to get the PPRs soon. Hope for the best!!!

Better than nothing for sure , more June people might have also got it.

I know it's most likely complete coincidence with lots of June applicants getting a 3rd line now ... And who knows - things might be static again now for a little while, but I like to think it was our emails we sent

Now, if these updates are just for fun by Cic then for us its more hard to determine when they have started processing our files.
