Hey Everyone,

I'm June 10th applicant, AOR July 29th. Nothing heard from CIC after AOR date. No MR request.

I just checked status on CIC website. It shows the 2nd line "We started processing your application on July 29, 2014".

I don't know when this line was updated there. I still do not have MR request yet.

Does anyone know what this means?

Guys, My idea is that its random update for all applicants, as everyone got their 3rd line updated, no matter if you are in 1st or 2nd review, Its still very rare chance that they update/touch our file, may be some query/batch for adding 3rd line with AOR date processing.

Would they be requesting medicals if the rest of the application ie paperwork wasn't in order/complete..?
I seem to think if you made it to the medical stage of the process that everything else is looking good to go. I could be wrong tho...

hi everyone,

just updating everyone..
my ecas is now: Decision made..

i got Passport request email on wednesday and mailed it thursday (tracking shows it was delivered on friday).
waiting for Passport to come back.

I am just wondering, what happens when i get my passport back..
i know i have to go to US/Canada border.. (i am currently in canada).

what happens at the border? is that where i get my PR card?
and is that the last step?

Wish we all receiving good news on Aug,18 ( they normally updates on Tuesdays)

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 22, 2014.
3. We started processing your application on July 22, 2015.
4. We sent you medical instructions on January 27, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.


I have received an email by CIC asking to confirm or not I am in Canada as I communicated time back I am not. I will reply with my new address in the UK and wait for next instruction. Does anybody know if this will have any implication at the time of landing when I will need to provide a Canadian address?

As long you update your residence address. Address in Canada is not necessary.

Have you applied for gcms notes? Were you on second review...

Guys, Sorry for the disappointing statement but there is no point in getting excited for the 3rd line if it has the Year "2014" in it.
But, I will still hope that they just start processing pending June 2014 applications sooner.

My second line got updated finally.
2 question:
1. I did my upfront medical examination in June, 2015 and the same has been sent to CIC, but now i got a request form CIC asking for medical examination?
2. Also in the eCAS, it states application started process on Aug 19th, 2014, how come they have past date?
