Which documents/proofs you need to carry to Doctor for getting upfront medicals done? Is it the same case even if you got MR from CIC? Thanks in advance.

Hi
just bring your passport

I think this week is a key week!
All the June 1st week applicants who dont have any second review are going to finish their 13 months.
if it is going beyond this period, then it is a serious concern. :-(

Let us hope for the best and expect that they will start working on June applicants atleast from this week.

Regards,
hsam

I don't see any consistent activities happening for May monthend applicants. I am just wondering how are you expecting some update will happen for June applicants this week.

I would suggest, send an email to cic as soon as you complete 13 months processing period. As someone suggested on the other day, its is good if everyone follow the same format while sending the email so that (hope) cic can whiff that some issue with June applicants and not with each individuals.

What you guy opinion!!!

As a silent user of this amazing forum, just wanted to give you guys some news, maybe it can reduce the pressure for you as well.

I received my medical two weeks ago, and last week a second set of additional documents were requested.
Based on my previous knowledge and origin country, those additional docs are for security checks to finalize the application.

Because of these delays, I was losing an extremely important opportunity, but now happiness and hope came back to me.
I wish you all the best, we are close...

HI Kothem,

It is not comparison with May applicants but just that the processing time of 13 months will be over for the first set of June applicants.
Thus, starting from this week, we can anticipate whether there can be more delays or atleast some update from CIC on June applicants.

Regards.

HI Nick,

Good atleast you have update now and are giving some ray of hope.
What are your timelines ?When did you apply and when was the application received?

I am not sure if its good sign but one of the June applicant got medicals yesterday as per other thread.
Hope now they are considering june applicants with second review or others.

Sorry I missed that in the thread. Who got the MR recently? Could the applicant please share timeline?

CIC received my application on second half of June, between those doomed dates that we all know...
it was on second review.

PS: sorry if I don't go into details about exact dates.

Congratulations for the update on your application. Can you please update your details on the spread sheet.

Though my application was not on second review, I was hoping to get some update on the second review period. I wonder if CIC moved on to second half of the month applicants and skip first half of the month again.

Thank you. But is it the same if you do after MR? OR based on MR, you can do it with your driving license (as proof of identity) without passport?

Doctors and MR form asks for two IDs and you might need one photo as well.
You must ask all of this from the doctor you are going to... each one is different. Some of them only need one passport.

MR form that CIC will send you has your personalized IME code and barcode, and other information about you.
This way they can set your visit date immediately at the same day in e-medical system.

For Upfront medical, they will provide you with a similar form, but you have no IME.

Thanks for the clarification Nick
