I recently got married and I notified CIC about my marital status to both Ottawa and Sydney, they didn't respond to my email. I got my MR few days before. I asked CIC for necessary documents to be filled by my spouse, still waiting for the response. What should I do, very confused ??? ???. How should I proceed. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to the reply. :)

I have seen cases...they generally take 1 months to reply...

How much does it cost for whole medical?
does she do medical on weekend too?
do i have to make appointment?

No, Dennis Garrett does not do weekends and he is great.

Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids cost us $400 and he explained things brilliantly all the way along. Also, he ensures that everything is ok and lets you know before he submits.

All done in a day (about 3 hours for us)

Nice gentleman!

Hi Everyone,
Good to see we are getting medical request one by one.
But in the spreadsheet, why there are some gaps in medical request column inbetween for whom applied under same June 2014.
Is this because they have not entered the date or CIC has not send the request yet.
I could see the same cases in Jan, Feb, March, April, May 2014 applicant spreadsheets.
In all spreadsheets, the gaps remains unfilled. If this is the case, applicants who applied earlier Jan2014 should have got the PR by this time (considering average processing time of 13 months).
What would be the reason for this, any idea....

Am glad you brought this up. Seems like we tend to "take-away" from this forum a lot and probably do not "give-back" with the same intensity. It is highly likely that we do not provide the data once we are sailing smooth and fail to recognize that "that data" could be meaningful to others.

Do not think CIC does not respond to so many candidates' application and leaves all their files untouched for so many days (considering Jan,Feb etc.) ! But yes, there could be a few such cases every month but not in the proportion of unfilled data that we have in our spreadsheets.

And yes, those who do update their data, they are in fact serving the purpose of this forum. Thanks to them.

Hi,
Can someone please tell me how long is it currently taking for CIC to make a decision after MR has been submitted? Thanks!

Both wife and husband are good, very polite with candidates. It took for me 1 and half hour on the day I went. :)

Thanks! But the average time seems to be longer than that, correct?
