based on the SS looks like application received at CIO between june 13th to 17th are assigned to a VO who is sleeping a lot ;D
some one need to wake him up.

Did you check if you apply for PCC based on AOR?

On the same boat.

I will need PCC from Hong Kong, but the tricky thing is I can't apply it without the request from CIC even though I have the AOR, since PCC from HK will be sent directly to CIC, so I must have that letter so that someone from CIC will receive it.

Probably because immigration for Quebec work differently. but if you are not in Montreal/Quebec now then it should be fine. But who are still in could take much longer.

I moved from Montreal in Nov month and update to CIC but i keep my mailing address of my lawyer and that is in Montreal

Hi guys,

I got MR yesterday (see previous page). However today CIC requested my foreign police certificate again, although I had submitted a police certificate with certified translation with my application package. Is this a normal thing or a mistake? I am not willing to pay another 100 bucks for a certified translation in case this is a mistake...

Similar case here... File received June 2nd, I have been in Ontario since my arrival and have dependents, however this is my 1st application.... Like I said earlier, I cannot figure out the pattern for the delay on getting MR. :-[ ... I guess all we can do is sit tight and wait for good news.

I have a question if somebody can answer it for me!! i am a june applicant. I am done with medical and paid rprf upfront. So now will be waiting for ppr. Supooose i get ppr at the end of march. But my passport expires in august. SO i want to know do i need to renew my passport before I send to cic., As somebody was telling passport should have atleast 6 months to expire???
