I am a June month CEC applicant. I got my AoR in July. I just wanted experts advise if we need to maintain any funds in our bank account for PR. Though, it is not mentioned anywhere in cec website about maintaining funds, just wondering if not maintaining enough funds will have any Consequences.

I think I just saw on the other thread that a May 2014 applicant received MR.

I supposed we will start hearing good news about this time next month?

My situation is I am from somewhere that requires a request letter from CIC to apply for PCC, therefore, I still have not submitted my PCC and have not yet heard from CIC either. Is it normal? Should I email them and ask (though I mentioned it on my cover letter already)...

In June excel sheet, there is one entry regarding BOWP. Can you please tell me who applied on nov 1 and did you receive your BOWP? Because in CIC it is mentioned that they are working on oct 15 applications.

As far as I could remember, I applied for BOWP on Oct. 9 and received it on Oct. 24, roughly a little longer than two weeks.

If online, have you been checking MyCIC for updates? Apparently you don't always get an email notification when approval comes through.

Oh that's not good, it looks like it can be approved for weeks before you get the physical permit in the mail. If you have the application number you might be able to call and ask?

I applied on November 18, no update yet but it's a bit too early.

Hi Guys, I need your advise. I got my AOR on Aug 5th. I am expecting to get the MR between Jan 20 to 30,2015. I will be out of country for my wedding which is on Jan 26,2015.
1. Do I have to notify CEC about the marital status change before the MR arrival.
2. Can I process my wife PR papers after I get my MR request. Is it alright ?
How does it work and Which is the safe method to follow. I appreciate if anyone can help me out. Thanks in advance.
