I tried calling CIC number but it does not work from out side Canada. I Sent email one month back but still waiting for reply.

I used +16139444000 from India using Skype and it worked. Give it a try if that works for you too ....

I am June 2014 applicant. I got my AOR in 5 Aug. which is already mentioned in spreadsheet. My Spouse got open work permit on Aug.26. Which is the best way to update my file and inform to CEC that my spouse is in Canada now? Is it mandatory to update file?

There is no need to update the dependent details. CIC have access to check anyway. I wouldn't bother unless principal applicant's address or changed.

Thanks a lot, it worked and finally I came to know why I did not receive my AOR.
They have incorrect email id on my file.

Hi Everyone,

I applied my CEC Application on july 2014 and received AOR on September.I applied my file under 1212 (Billing Supervisor)

Today i just checked the below points from cec website:

Employment requirements

Completion of a college program or courses in bookkeeping, accounting or a related subject is required.
Experience in the clerical occupation supervised is required.


I have completed business management-international business programme from lambton college

and previously having one year of experince as admin assistant and than i got promoted and get one year of experience as billing supervisor.

can you please advise as per cec did i match the employment requirements

Hello Guys,
I am MPNP applicant and new to this forum. My timeline post application to Fed CIC are as given below.

21-Jun-14 Processing Fee $1,400.00 paid to CIC online
21-Jun-14 Processing fee reflected in my credit card statement
24-Jun-14 Application dispatched to CIC CIO, NS via DHL
30-Jun-14 Application received in CIO, Sydney, NS
26-Aug-14 CIC CIO AOR received thru eMail
28-Aug-14 ECAS- "Application Received"
22-Sep-14 File Transferred to CED
22-Oct-14 Received email - Medical Forms and request to pay RPRF Fees
24-Oct-14 ECAS - " In process" .. started processing your application on October 21, 2014.

I have got an e-mail advice yesterday from CED to complete the following:-

"1) Medical : Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration Medical Examination to be completed by entire family. This must be received by this office by :2014/12/06
2) RPRF : Pay Right of Permanent Residence fee for yourself and your spouse. This must be received by this office by :2014/12/06

Failure to submit them within that period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.

PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS

My query is- as the last line of this mail suggests, does CED expect me to send the hardcopies of relevant documents through snail mail or is there any e-mail ID available where I can send the scanned copy.

Any replies would be much appreciated.

I am new to this forum, I have received my AOR on July 31st, 2014(exactly after 45 days from my file received to CIC Nova Scotia), when can i expect medicals? I have heard that currently some delays are occuring to the medicals and PPR's.
