i have one question i am going to india to bring my wife here do i need to show them funds at the airport

Hi,

Typically for CEC, you do not need the proof of funds. But if you can keep a copy of your bank statement, that would be fine.
I would suggest to keep copies of your latest payment stubs, utility bills etc with you as well when you land.

Return tracker is on for me as well. Passports reached Ottawa on Dec 2.

Iam sorry for a dumb question, what is the return tracker and how do you access it ?

It's the Canada post tracking number which on Xpresspost envelop that is used by CIC to return the passports. We need to send this envelop along with the passports to CIC.
If you find an entry on the Canada post website for that tracking number, it is inferred as activated.

I am trying to apply for my GCMS notes and wanted to attach IMM 5744 form in order to ensure that i receive the details of my Spouse as well. Last time, they did not provide the details for my Spouse.

I am the Principal Applicant (PA).

Can you please tell me whose details should i fill in the below columns ?

Section A : Is it mine (PA) or my wife's details ?
Section B : Is it mine or my wife's details ?
Section C : Question 1 : Should i fill my details or leave it blank ?
Question 2 : Should i leave it blank or choose email option ?
Section D : I assume i should leave it blank as this application is for my wife only

Please reply as soon as possible.

my application is still going on, i call the callcentre to check on my case, and they noticed that i had not changed my home address ( i came back to india a year ago, after applying through the representative from within canada), but my mailing address is still the representative office number..
should i be worried , could this be the reason for my delay ?

and furthermore i cant change address online since its only applicable for people still within canada, how did u guys manage to do it if you left the country?

I was in same situation. My mailing address was in Canada but home address was Indian. They asked me to submit my passport to Canadian visa office. My representative did send them an email to change the same. By the way did they ask police clearance certificate from India..if not you should submit the same coz you are in India and this can slowdown your app.. Do it fast if not..
