I got my GC notes today. It states that :

Eligibility : Passed
Security : Not Started
HIRV :
Criminality : In Progress
Org Crime:
Medical : Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

Not sure why its pending for Security and Criminality. There has been no update since last three months on my file.
RPRF was already requested and paid three months ago. They are just not asking for PPR. Sad
And It Sucks.

When did u order your notes? I ordered mine on August 19th and still haven't got them.

That's one application - with a specific reason regarding the individuals representative ... Don't think that's cause to raise more upset to the masses.

I've just had another look at my GCMS notes and I've noticed something weird:

Criminality: In progress

but at the same time:
Sub-activity / Activity type: RCMP Screening
Field Name: Status
New Value: No reportable trace
Updated Date: 2014/08/14

Sub-activity / Activity type: Biographic
Field Name: Status
New Value: No reportable trace
Updated Date: 2014/08/12

Is it me, or should my criminality screening be "passed" for over 14 months now? Or is there another check they are doing? because there is no reportable trace of it in my GCMS notes..

We got in touch with CSIS. They still haven't received a request from CIC to screen us, even though CIC keeps saying that our security check is in progress.

do you know how to reach them to get the details? can you please let me know I would like to send the request to them.

Hello all ,

I am 26-June -14 applicant,completed medicals on 17-Feb-15 and awaiting for PPR.
If I get PPR request Can I request CIC to extend the visa expiry for my wife till June-2016 as we are expecting a baby in March-16 and she can't travel after her 07 months of pregnancy. Normally CIC gives the visa expiry date from 1 year of medicals which will be 17-Feb-16.

Pls advise if anybody came across same situation.

I order the GC Notes on 18th Sept, and received email on 19th Oct.

Every one of us are waiting very desperately for the PPR. Please don't make us panic by generalizing the issue based on a specific case. I know some convicted criminals also apply for PR. It doesn't mean every one is treated like a criminal.

I am not defending you but please consider before posting any comments as every one is so frustrated and depressed.

Is it also because he never gave a sh*t about complaints and petitions? ;D Not only ours but probably the voters' too. Even Canadians who never heard about CIC were fed up with them.
